What’s the difference between 4x2 and 4x4?


4x2 trucks only sends power to its rear wheels, reducing complexity and allowing
higher max towing capabilities. 4x4 trucks can send power to all four wheels,
making them more sure-footed off-road or in winter conditions.

How much does a truck weigh?


It’s not always easy to find out how much a pickup truck weighs, since
manufacturers don’t have to publish those figures for most trucks. What they do
provide is GVWR, or gross vehicle weight rating, which is the maximum safe
weight for a fully loaded truck, with passengers, fuel, and cargo included.

What is the difference between a half-ton and ¾-ton truck?


Originally, these terms indicated how much weight a truck could carry: either
1,000 pounds for half-ton or 1,500 pounds for three-quarter-ton. These days,
they’re shorthand for describing truck sizes, from full size to heavy duty.

How much does a truck cost?
