What type of test do you offer?

We Offer COVID-19 PCR/NAAT Swab Testing.

The COVID-19 swab test is a polymerase chain reaction (PCR)/nucleic acid
amplification test (NAAT), which tells you if you have COVID-19 at the time of
the test. The test uses a sample collected from a person’s nose, using a
non-invasive swab that goes approximately 1cm into the nostril. The test will
not tell you if you had COVID-19 in the past.

*Please review your airline or final destination’s requirements as it pertains
to COVID-19 testing. Markham M Medical’s COVID-19 test type, testing window and
results’ turnaround time may not be suitable for your particular airline or
destination.



Can I use Markham M Medical's testing result for international travel?

Not all airlines or destinations have the same requirements in terms of COVID-19
testing. Markham M Medical’s COVID-19 test type, testing window and results’
turnaround time may not be suitable for your particular airline or destination.

Do I meet the requirement for testing?

If you require a pre-travel COVID-19 test, please ensure that you meet the
requirements below:

 * You are asymptomatic (you do not have any symptoms);
 * You have not been in close contact with a positive case;
 * You, or any dependant you are booking for are 6 years old and older;
 * For travellers, you understand that your testing MUST be done within 48 to 72
   hours prior to your departure and that results will be available 24 hours
   after you have completed your test.*

to COVID-19 testing. Markham M Medical’s COVID-19 testing window and results’
turnaround time may not be suitable for your particular airline or destination.

For what reason can I book a test?

There are various reasons for which you may want to get tested. Whether it is
for school, work, travel purposes or simply for your own peace of mind you can
book an appointment to use our COVID-19 testing service, as long as you are
asymptomatic (do not show any symptoms of COVID-19)!

Before you book, review the question “Do I meet the requirements for testing?”
to ensure that you qualify to book an appointment.



When will I get my result?

Markham M Medical aim to provide 24 hours of turnaround time for COVID-19 PCR
testing.*

*Most test results are sent 24 hours after getting your test sample but cannot
guarantee if impact by uncontrollable factors. 

PCR tests are complex laboratory processes where there are many factors that are
beyond our control, such as contaminated samples, traffic accidents, natural
disasters, etc..

Markham M Medical is not responsible for the consequences, such as missed
flight, of late-arriving/missing report due to prolonged laboratory turnaround
times, or other unforeseen factors noted above. We will not issue refund under
circumstanced mentioned above. 

In the unlikely event of delayed report, please contact our customer service to
follow up with your report. Markham M Medical will work to obtain your report as
soon as possible. 



Do I need PCR test if I am fully vaccinated?

Not all airlines or destinations have the same requirements in terms of COVID-19
testing and vaccination exceptions. Please check with airlines or destinations
for latest COVID-19 requirements.

When should I schedule my test relative to my flight?

For travelers, most airline or destinations require test sampling MUST be done
within 48 to 72 hours prior to your departure. Airlines and destinations have
different sampling time requirement, please check with airlines and destinations
for more detail.*

You result will take 24 hours after you have completed your test to be send to
you. Therefore, you cannot test in less than 24 hours prior your flight
departure.

How do I know country I am flying to requires proof of negative Covid-19 PCR
swab prior to travel?

Different airlines or destinations have the different requirements in terms of
COVID-19 testing.

Please check with airlines and travel destinations for up-to-date COVID-19
testing requirements.

It's past 24 hours after my test and I have not received the results, what
should I do?

Your test results will be emailed to you directly from Markham M Medical. If you
have not received your test results within 24 hours, please complete the
following steps:

 2. Contact us by phone to confirm your email address and confirm the results:
