The Indigo Girls are as amazing as when I saw them 20 years ago. The Peace
Center is wonderful. I only wish that the overall sound is better. I saw Wicked
from the founders circle and many parts were too quiet. I was in the orchestra
part for Indigo Girls and the sound was a bit better.

Totally incredible as always! Amy and Emily are so talented- writing, musical
ability, harmonies. Lyris is an absolute FIRE violinist. I’ve never seen a
musician play violin with such delicacy and ferocity at once. They’re super
conscious of their fans and great live performers! SO MUCH FUN!! One of my
favorite bands of all time. Went to see them for the first time in 2001 pregnant
with my son, sang him to sleep too Power Of Two his whole childhood, just danced
with him at his wedding to our song. They’re the soundtrack of most of my big
moments in life.

The performance was spectacular, but the inside venue staff was a disappointing
shit show! They seemed unprofessional, & were completely out of line with how
outside security had prepped us for how the doors opening process would be for
the O2 line que. I was in line at 14:00, five hours before the listed doors
time. My friends & I were the first people there & began the regular line.
Security then informed us the O2 que line would be admitted first before the
regular standing general admission line, so two groups of us changed to that
line as we had O2 phone verification. What we had been told & how security
organized us, never happened & at 19:03 all the doors opened at once. We never
would’ve switched lines had we known. We should’ve been at the center of the
very front inside the venue but instead were off to the sides because the
standing GA line had a more direct path to the stairs & got down before we
could. It is massively unacceptable that this happened! When I asked an inside
security supervisor about it, she told me “we always open all the doors at the
same time”. I hope this review gets to someone with the power to influence the
entire O2 Shepards Bush staff, inside & out, about how terrible their lack of
internal communication at this otherwise marvelous event was!!

Great venue - the high ceiling and balcony means it does not feel dark and
dingy. Bar was well staffed and prices were not rip off Security was friendly
and really set the tone as welcomed to the Tramshed A really positive
experience, but not five star because... I was at the front - leaning on the
barrier, 2 metres from the stage and two observations: 1 - Air Conditioning
rattle was very obvious, and distracting on quiet performances. Plenty of people
looking up to see where the source of the noise was from... It persisted
throughout the evening. 2 - Sound quality at the very front was not the best,
with speakers putting the sound out to those behind, it was poorly balanced and
quieter voices simply lost.

Great show - mix of new & old songs & an audience ready & willing to sing along
when invited. Yasmin Williams was a superb support act - fabulous guitar
playing. Our 1st time at the Tramshed - good venue - not too large. Drinks not
cheap but didn't take long to be served.

They keep getting better and better! I love how they are digging deep into the
archives, mining old material for ever changing set lists. The full band played
like they’d been together for years, comfortable with each other and the
material without sounding worn. And I loved hearing Trina Meade as a backup
vocalist.

Beautiful music. Great venue. They totally owned the crowd and treated us like
old friends. I was initially annoyed that I paid so much per ticket and couldn't
even find anywhere to stand let alone sit for the opening act but thankfully
someone made an announcement before the Indigo Girls came on asking people to
move closer together so we could get in.

The Indigo Girls never disappoint the crowd. Good mix of old and new and played
several songs they do not play at every concert.(which is a plus for me having
seen them over 50 times). Only gave 4 stars because the Daily Herald said they’d
have the full band but only had the extra violin (who is fabulous!).

This is my fourth visit to Charleston Music Hall to see the incredible Indigo
Girls in concert. I travel from Texas for this show every time it's offered as I
find the venue and its staff to be top notch in friendliness and service. The
venue itself has excellent acoustics, too. Indigo Girls also clearly enjoy
playing in the historic city of Charleston, which hosted them many times from
1986 onward. Nothing beats a great venue, great staff and wonderful performers
who bring it all together for some soul enriching music! FIVE stars, highly
recommended!!

This venue is awesome!! So intimate and just great. I absolutely love the Indigo
Girls and will continue to see them again and again. This wasn't my favorite set

always support them. They are the best and I will return to the Charleston Music

Go see the Indigo Girls and you won’t regret it! The combination of Amy Ray’s
powerful beautiful voice and Emily Sailers’ softer beautiful voice backed up by
approximately 55 members of the Atlanta Symphony including around 23 violins is
such a wonderful and memorable experience! The crowd was really into the concert
sometimes singing without the Indigo Girls. No opening band and it was not
needed anyway. Loved being surrounded by a sexually diverse crowd. The sound in
the Atlanta Symphony Hall is excellent. Very worth the trip from Opelika, AL.

the Girls came out & so did all the love! My 16th IG concert & as always, just

LOVE the Indigo Girls! This was an absolutely SUBLIME show, with guest Lyris
Hung on the violin... an awesome evening of crowd favorites mixed in with
material from their new album ("Look Long") and some really surprising deep

singer-songwriter duos in American music history!!!

Indigo Girls plus Martha’s Vineyard. What else can you really say? What a great
show on a beautiful island. My wife and I had a super time. The crowd was pretty
good but a little too calm for my liking. I enjoy the “I can’t possibly stay in
my seat for this song” crowd and I was not comfortable being the only one - not
with my awkward dance rhythm anyways. Best song of the night - Dairy Queen- I
love that rocking tune. Both these ladies are masters of guitar and other
instruments- they don’t get enough credit for that and the violinist was superb
- Lyris Hung. Shout out to the guitar tuning stage guy - maybe named Mark - for
giving me a guitar pick souvenir.

Absolutely a dream concert! Parking not withstanding (full lot before most
people arrived & then I had no idea where to go to park, there were no
directions, no help, just guessing - terrible way to start such an amazing
evening - the venue needs to provide more help, info, instructions, etc to aid
in parking once that lot is full! Please!) Otherwise this venue is fabulous, it
was a gorgeous night, the Indigo Girls were amazing & chill as always & Brandi

There is no better show in the world that compares with the Indigo Girls! They
are brilliant because of the love they have for music. Their obvious love for
the fans shows with the way they directly interact with them. I have been a huge
fan of The Girls since 1987 and with each show I see they just get better and

The Indigo Girls sound just as great as ever! They have a wonderful relationship
with their fans and seem to enjoy audience participation. The venue is intimate
but nice. My one complaint was the slight crush to exit after the show. There
should be more communication between the venues who share common areas. Hope to
see the Girls again!

ABOUT INDIGO GIRLS

The Indigo Girls are Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. They met on the playground in
grammar school in Decatur, Georgia, and have been playing together since high
school. They were signed to Epic Records in 1989 and won the grammy for best
contemporary folk album later that year (for their self titled release) Some of
their hit songs include "Galileo," "Closer to Fine," and "Shame on You."

Aside from being musicians, Ray and Saliers are activists, constantly supporting
causes like gun control, women's rights, Native American rights, environmental
protection, lesbian/gay/trans rights, and abortion rights. They constantly
devote their time and money to such causes, often playing benefit concerts.

Ray and Saliers both have side projects. Ray owns and founded Daemon Records, an
independent label based in Decatur. She also has a career as a solo artist, and
has released two albums thus far. Saliers is the part owner of Watershed, a
restaurant and wine bar in Decatur.

Together, the Indigo Girls are constantly touring. Their new album, Despite Our
Differences, was released 19 September 2006.
