100,000 POUNDS CHALLENGE

Take the IDHS-Serve Illinois 100,000 Pounds Challenge to Fight Food Insecurity
Together!

The IDHS-Serve Illinois Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service is
excited to announce the 100,000 Pounds Challenge to Fight Food Insecurity.

In celebration of National Volunteer Month, Serve Illinois is proud to support
the fight against food insecurity by hosting the challenge to collect 100,000
pounds of food for residents across Illinois within 48 hours.

According to Feeding America, in Illinois alone, 1 in 11 people are facing
hunger and 1 in 9 are children. Learn more!

As an organization that is actively working on combatting this social issue, we
are reaching out to invite you to help us Fight Food Insecurity Together by
collecting 100,000 pounds of food across the state by taking two simple steps:

1. Taking and dispersing the Illinois Fights Food Insecurity Together Pledge.
