JOB DESCRIPTION

The On Site Support Engineer together with the IT Infrastructure Support Team
(ITIST) provide IT support at the different locations/sites. The majority of the
requests are related to front-end systems such as desktops, laptops, fixed and
mobile phones and applications. Requests relating to back-end systems such as
servers and networking will be serviced from the central IT teams, but
assistance on-site for these teams is regularly needed, therefore a strong
verbal and written English is a requirement.

As part of the GSC – NSC IT Infrastructure team the main activities for this
role are:

 * Provide hands-on IT Support at the in scope location(s) covering IT
   Infrastructure services, such as: Worplace Services, Networking, Printing,
   Servers etc.
 * Installations and deployments of new laptops, desktops and mobile devices as
   well as performing hardware installations.
 * Providing second line (L2) support and work closely with the ServiceDesk (L1)
   and other support teams.
 * Applying information system security rules (rights, password changes, Group
   security recommendations) and adherence and adoption of IT Group standards.
 * Maintaining proper inventory of assets (hardware and software licenses) and
   deliver quality documentation, procedures and work instructions.
 * Ensuring that the services comply with the set policies and standards and
   meet the agreed SLA’s.

Specific Assignments:

 * Support the end user and end device migration activities into the new zones.
 * Participate in future planned migrations of IT zones to ITIST covering also
   the network and printers.


QUALIFICATIONS

An ideal candidate should have strong experience in all of the below:

 * Experience with Desktop deployments and rollouts, upgrading to latest Windows
   clients, SCCM and Intune.
 * Experience in Office 365 environments: OneDrive, Teams etc.
 * Solid knowledge of Microsoft end-user environment (Windows 10, MS Office
   etc.)
 * Active Directory / Azure Active Directory.
 * Good knowledge of mobile solution and devices (Android, iPhone, etc.)
 * Basic knowledge of networking (switches / patches / IP / Subnets)
 * Ability to read, understand and create technical documentation of the
   delivered solutions.
