THE HAINT MISTRESS OF ABINGDON

ABINGDON SPIRT TOURS

THERE’S ONLY ONE HAINT MISTRESS

Abingdon’s rich history predates the American Revolution, and Donnamarie Emmert,
the Haint Mistress of Abingdon, shares some of its secrets, legends and ghost
stories on her guided Spirit Tours. She has been sharing the Town’s tales for
over 25 years. Having a Masters Degree in Storytelling, an outrageous love for
of all things Halloween-y and that go bump in the night, and a ferocious
attraction to history, she combines these skills into a memorable entertainment.

Don’t be fooled by imitators. There’s only one Donnamarie Emmert and
one authentic Abingdon Spirit Tour.

2023 Dates: October 6th-7th and the 13th – 30th

Due to the resurgence of Covid in our area, the October schedule for The Spirit
Tours is by reservation only. Cost is $20 per person, cash only. Dates are
filling quickly so please make plans soon. Text (276) 706-6093 to find out what
days are still open.

Note: Ghosts don’t care if it’s October! Private Tours are available throughout
the year!  Text (276) 706-6093 for availability .

Things to Know:

*Walking tours will begin at 7:30 at 112 Court Street at Wolf Hills Coffee,
unless otherwise requested.

*Tours are approximately 2 hours long.

*Cost is $20 per person, paper money. No checks or plastic accepted.

*Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and appropriate clothing for the
weather.

*This tour is decidedly not recommended for children under 10. Due to the nature
of Abingdon’s brick sidewalks, the tour is not recommended for wheeled
conveyances (e.g. wheelchairs or prams).

*Tours are canceled in the event of heavy rain.

Virginia is for Lovers; Abingdon is for Ghost Story Lovers!
