SHURE DOES IT AGAIN.... THE BROTHERS WOULD BE PROUD!
I have been using Shure products since 1965. My Father was the Photographer and
Audio Visual Director at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. The Home of the
Coconut Grove. The first Microphone I ever used was a Shure 55SW. I remember
when the SM57 and SM58 were released. We owned one of the Fi...rst Vocal Master
Systems. In 1975 I mixed my first concert ever at my High School using 2 of our
Vocal Master Systems for this Local Band named Van Halen. After High School I
went to work for a Sound Company in Hollywood "Hollywood Sound Systems". I used
the M67 and M68. My Favorite Vocal Microphone was and still is the SM7 before it
had a B. I traveled the world with Bob Hope and relied on the FP31 to do remote
mixing for years. I have relied on their seemingly indestructible equipment to
bring good sounding entertainment to millions of people on shows like The
Academy Awards, The Cops TV Show, MTV, Entertainment Tonight and a plethora of
Awards Shows, Live Concerts, Comedy Specials and 3 Olympic Opening and Closing
Ceremonies. I moved to Colorado where I am a D.J. on our Community Radio
Station. Which will get me to the point of why I recommend Motiv. When this
Covid-19 mess hit us all. Our Radio Station was forced to stop letting Volunteer
D.J.'s come into the station. Making it necessary to Pre Record shows or put up
Pandora Playlists. Then came the Solution. Creating shows on the iPad with a
MV7. Being able to set the program up in Auto Level with Natural Tone and the
Far Mic Position. Then telling the D.J.'s to stay a foot away from the
microphone. Changed everything. The off axis noise rejection and Far Mode made
all the difference in the world. I am now doing a lot of work with Teachers
adding the MV7 has made many people very happy. Wants It would be nice to be
able to share and import presets. A Noise Gate would be a great addition. An
Analogue Limiter with Peak Reduction and Gain like the LA3A would be phenomenal.
I am ready to be a Beta Tester.

GETS AUDIO IN, NEEDS MORE GAIN ON USB PATH
When using the USB connection and current version of ShurePlus MOTIV, not enough
gain is available to meet the requirements of the audio signal's target system.
Upping the +36 dB gain available via the software interface to +50, +60 dB would
save users from having to purchase an additional USB mixe...r/interface, or
installing additional software, to achieve that gain.

Works 20% of the time. Other 80% the app doesn't open, causes computer to
freeze, causes buzzing, stalls on open, updates fail, etc.

I use the Shure Mv7 for gaming and streaming, it is a great portable microphone
and the software connectivity works very well. The on-mic features are brilliant
and the sound quality is crisp.

IM HAPPY THERE IS AN APP FOR THE PC FOR THIS. I BOUGHT THI..

I bought this product so I could use it with my phone but the mount piece that
attached was not carved out. So I decide to use it as a desktop mic finding
software was a struggle at first. Then I search again found this and It works as
expected. :) there should not be a 2.5 ave for this software. It is nice and
easy to use. Im sure with time that were will be a mac version for this. The app
is already supported on iPhone and android. No need for bad reviews here.
