CONTROLS ENGINEER

Reports to: VP Engineering or VP Operations

Position Description:
Plan and execute engineering projects as described in proposals.

Work Conditions:
Work is generally performed 50% within an office environment, with standard
office equipment available, and 50% within an industrial plant floor
environment. Office work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require
standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Onsite work is generally more
demanding in nature and may require long hours, significant walking and
standing, lifting, climbing in sometimes noisy and dirty environments.
Approximately an average of 30% travel required. Projects are deadline‐driven,
and can be “fast‐paced.” Working overtime and weekends may be required based on
projects requirements and schedules, and can be “fast‐paced.” Working overtime

Responsibilities:

 * Lead Engineer for smaller projects
 * Assist Senior Engineers on larger projects
 * Controls software programming
 * Electrical hardware design
 * Onsite startup, testing, production support
 * Interface with the customers and vendors
 * Complete project documentation – Open Issues, Task List, Closeout
 * Provide weekly updates to management

Requirements:

 * BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
 * Experience with controls hardware and software preferred
 * Good customer communication skills.
 * Good organizational skills.
 * Professionalism

IS PATTI ENGINEERING HIRING?

When Patti Engineering has a salaried opening in the United States, the position
will be on the list of open positions above. The required skills and educational
background are listed on the job description. You can register, upload your

WHAT POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

We hire Interns, Co-ops and direct hires. Please view the list of open positions

WHAT ARE MY START DATE OPTIONS ONCE I ACCEPT A FULL-TIME POSITION?

Start dates are determined by each department/office location and are specific
to its particular needs and the needs of the new hire. For recent college
graduates, start dates are based on their graduation dates.

DO YOU OFFER PAID INTERNSHIPS IN THE U.S.?

Yes. The Patti Engineering Internship Program offers students hands-on, career
specific experience by providing full-time work during breaks. For example, a
Summer Internship would typically run from mid- May through the beginning of
September. Individuals are selected for an internship because they are
recognized as having top academic standing with exceptional leadership,
communication and self- motivation skills. All intern positions are posted here
on our Careers page.
