   The present findings demonstrate that noribogaine is biologically active and
   undoubtedly contributes to the in vivo pharmacological profile of ibogaine in
   rats. One answer to ibogaine’s risk profile has been the development of
   18-methoxycoronaridine, or 18-mc, and other newer derivatives. Dr. Stanley
   Glick, who invented 18-MC, a form of ibogaine without its intense
