Hosted By : Organized By : More Information TVRI was established on August 24,
1962 (based on RI Menpen Decree No. 20/SK/VII/61) marked by the inaugural
broadcast of the IV Asian Games at the Bung Karno Sports Arena Main Stadium.
Infrastructure development prepared by the Government at that time was the
Senayan sports complex area (Kampung Senayan, Petunduan, Kelapa Gardens and
Bendungan Hilir) as well as the construction of new roads, namely Jalan MH
Thamrin, Gatot Subroto, Semanggi Bridge, to TVRI to support tournament
broadcasting needs. ABOUT THE HOST Host : More Info TVRI's presence was prepared
in less than ten months. Occupying the building that was originally planned as
the Information Academy Campus - Indonesian Ministry of Information, at the
Youth Gate - Senayan Jakarta, broadcast programs are prepared, packaged and
broadcast using terrestrial networks. Then, the next stage of development
outside Java, including Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. Thus, even after a
quarter of a century, television broadcasting infrastructure has spread to
almost all corners of the archipelago. Chronologically, the status of TVRI in
1963 was in the form of the Television Foundation of the Republic of Indonesia
(TVRI) based on Presidential Decree Number 215 of 1963 concerning the
Establishment of the Television Foundation of the Republic of Indonesia. It is
the oldest television station in Indonesia and the only television whose
coverage reaches the entire territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
