little kid; just really watching out for how things could get sideways really
quickly. It’s humbling how many of my old friends have met their untimely deaths
because they thought that the world was a safe place and nature was benevolent
and they were watched over. I have this side of me that has kept me alive. I’m
basically saying that I’m not going to be the hero who runs into the burning
