CREATING A BETTER LIFE WITH WORLD-CLASS WATER SERVICES

Water is an essential part of daily life. It's the way we use water that helps
our city thrive and supports the productivity and prosperity of our economy. Our
vision is underpinned by our strategy to deliver world-class water services, to
create a better life for our people, our business partner and our communities.

Sydney Water respectfully acknowledges the traditional custodians of all lands
and waters. We pay respect to Elders past and present.

The five figures in this painting are sisters; Mimosa, Wilga, Lilli Pilli,
Wattle and Clematis who are central to “The Story of the Five Islands”. The
sisters became the Five Islands just off the Illawarra coast, a short distance
away from Sydney Water's Port Kembla Stormwater Plant. While the sixth sister,
Geera, became what is now known as Mt Keira.

You can visit the public artworks created by the Coomaditchie artists at Port
Kembla or read about it here.
