CREATING YOUR CONTRIBUTE ACCOUNT
SIGNING UP FOR CONTRIBUTE
If you’re eligible, you can sign up for a free Contribute account and start
taking surveys today.
When you sign up for Contribute, you also get a SurveyMonkey account (our free
plan) you can use to create your own surveys. The username and password are the
same for both accounts.
YOUR PROFILE
As part of the sign-up process, you'll fill out a profile with general questions
about you and your lifestyle. This profile info helps ensure you’ll take surveys
relevant to you, your background, and other targeting criteria that SurveyMonkey
Audience customers are looking for.
To update or edit your profile:
1. Log in to your Contribute account.
2. In the upper-right corner, click My Account.
3. Click Edit my profile.
4. Select Edit your answer to update any existing profile info or Tell us more
about you to complete more profile questions.
We share basic demographic info in survey results. To maintain your privacy, we
never share your name, username, email address, or home address. For more
information, please read our Privacy Notice.
TAKING SURVEYS
FINDING SURVEYS
To take a survey, you can log into your Contribute account and click Take a
survey from your dashboard, like you can see in the image at the top of this
article.
We sometimes send you an email or text inviting you to take surveys, if you’re
subscribed for these notifications. You can update your Notification Settings at
any time.
There may not always be surveys available that match your profile, but don’t
worry—we’ll have more surveys for you to take soon.
COMPLETING SURVEYS
When you complete a survey, we’ll automatically donate to your default charity.
You’ll also gain a chance to spin the wheel to the win the sweepstake prize. You
can go to your dashboard and Play to Win to see if you have any spins.
In order to donate to your default charity and Play to Win you must complete the
survey. Completing the survey means that you answer all required questions and
click Done on the last page of the survey.
Some surveys may have screening questions at the start of the survey to ensure
survey creators are getting the respondent data they need. You may not complete
the survey and collect a reward if you are disqualified by the screening
questions.
If you exit a survey before completing it, you won't receive credit, and you
won't be able to access the same survey again.
WHERE DO SURVEYS COME FROM?
You’re taking surveys created by SurveyMonkey customers who purchased responses
from SurveyMonkey Audience. Customers can target the types of people they want
to hear from—from all over the world.
You may notice a wide variety of survey subjects and tone, but all surveys
should still adhere to our Acceptable Uses Policy and design guidelines and
recommendations.
If you have concerns about a survey you’re taking, please report the survey.
EDITING YOUR ACCOUNT SETTINGS
To get to your account settings, click My Account in the upper-right corner of
your dashboard. Click on the setting you wish to update.

My Donations displays at the bottom of your My Account page. It summarizes your
total amount donated and the charities you donated to.
CONTRIBUTE PLUG-IN
We retired the Contribute Plug-in. This means if you have the plug-in installed,
we're not collecting data about the use of your device and there's no increase
in the donations made to participating charities.
Removing the Contribute Plug-in
To remove the Contribute Plug-in and VPN profile on an iOS device:
1. Go to Settings in your device.
2. Select General and then Profiles.
3. Select Contribute and then Delete Profile.
To remove the Contribute Plug-in on an Android device, delete the plug-in app
from your device.
NOMINATING CHARITIES
If you know of or work for a charity that may be interested in being considered
for Momentive’s Together Contribute partnership, please complete our charity
partner application. You’ll answer eligibility questions before you can access
the application.
Our charity manager will reach out to qualified charities with the next steps.

REPORTING AN ISSUE
If you have concerns about a survey you’re taking, please click Report a problem
with this survey at the bottom of any survey page to alert us. We’ll review the
survey and can work with the survey owner to improve their survey or discontinue
it. If you’re curious, learn more about how to detect and avoid scams.
If you encounter a technical issue with the sweepstakes instant win game, please
contact us with your username, browser version, and any error message you may
have seen.
SurveyMonkey Contribute lets you earn rewards for completing surveys and donate
to charity. To edit your SurveyMonkey Contribute account settings, sign in and
click My Account from the upper-right corner of your dashboard.
