Feedback I kind of like Flutterflow and have made a lot of progress making an app, but I have found that the support here on the community forum is lacking. I put in questions and no one answers them. Does anyone like any other No Code apps that are similar, but have more responsive support? Thanks. 6 * DUPLICATED PROJECTS LEAD TO MISSING ASSETS (IMAGES) General Conversations My app is over a year old. Along the way, I've duplicated the project in the FF dashboard and built off the newest version of it, keeping the old ones in the menu for reference. Today, I opened one of my apps and all the image assets from the versions prior to the newest one, are missing their assets from that project's FF google storage location. For example, https://storage.googleapis.com/flutterflow-io-6f20.appspot.com/projects/project_version1/assets/1234/image1.png is 'access denied'. but an image with the same link with 'project_version4' works fine. Basically, any image added before the last duplication of the project is missing. (21 of them to be exact). I can tell which project version the image belongs to by clicking the assets 'open your asset in a new tab' icon on the top right of the asset. Did FF go in and clean house on old projects that finally got deleted from the dashboard, but didn't think to move the assets to the new project's storage location? Trying to figure out what's going on and if my project 'duplication' is a bad practice. 1 * HOW TO GENERATE QR CODE IN FLUTTERFLOW ; ANY SUGGESTION HOW TO DO IT ? Best Practices I want a way for user to generate Qr code in in my flutterflow apps , so when other user scan the Qr code the will Automatically navigate to the to the user profile.. 2 * HOMEMASH - A COMPREHENSIVE REAL ESTATE PLATFORM Best Practices Hello FlutterFlow Community, I'm excited to share a project we've been working on, HomeMash. It's a real estate platform designed to make the process of renting, booking, or buying properties as easy as possible right from your mobile device. 🔗 Project Link: HomeMash on FlutterFlowl ✍️ About HomeMash: HomeMash aims to transform how users interact with real estate online. With a focus on user experience, the app includes custom widgets tailored to real estate functionalities. It leverages GPS for location-based services, enhancing property search efficiency based on the user's current or chosen location. Additionally, we’ve integrated Mapbox to provide clear, detailed geographic visuals, which are crucial for real estate browsing. Recent Updates: ◾ Streamlined Property Listings: We've improved the layout and filters to help users find what they need faster. ◾ Optimized Booking Flows: The booking process is now smoother, making it easier for users to schedule visits or finalize transactions. ◾ Enhanced User Engagement: Through intuitive design and responsive interactions, users can enjoy a seamless experience that encourages longer app sessions and repeat visits. ⚙️ Technical Stack: 🔹 Frontend: Flutter, FlutterFlow, Custom Widgets 🔹 Backend: Firebase, Firebase Authentication 🔹 APIs: REST API integration for dynamic data retrieval 🔹 Mapping: Mapbox for advanced mapping features 🔹 Location Services: GPS integration for real-time property tracking 🔹 State Management: Efficient handling of app states for optimal performance 🔹 Notifications: Push notifications to keep users updated on property status and app news 🔹 Deep Linking: Ensures a seamless user journey across various sections of the app 🔹 Version Control: Managed with Git to keep our development process smooth and collaborative. I'd love to hear your feedback on HomeMash, any features you find useful, or suggestions for improvement. Also, if anyone is interested in discussing the technical aspects or collaborating on similar projects, feel free to reach out! Looking forward to your thoughts and any discussions they might spark! 0 * OLD FLUTTERFLOW PROJECTS ARE STARTING TO FAIL. ARE YOU EXPERIENCING THE SAME? General Conversations It's now been over 40 days and FlutterFlow still hasn't fixed, in my opinion, a critical bug. One of their many updates to FlutterFlow has caused Supabase Auth to not redirect a user to a custom page. It's a terrible experience for my users that I can't redirect them. I chose to disable "Navigate Automatically" because I need to send the user to a custom page. It's difficult to maintain a professional app when such basic things don't work in my project. If I create a new and empty project, Supabase Auth works fine. But not in the project I've been working on for more than 6 months. They keep avoiding the issue and won't help me. Are there others with the same problem, who have had a project running for a long time where strange things happen, causing things to stop working? 5 WELCOME NEW COMMUNITY MEMBERS More A Adoum 2 days ago · building something new NEW TO FLUTTERFLOW AND BUILDING A FINTECH MVP Hello everyone, great to be part of this community, I heard many good things about it. Also, can we create a 2 in 1 dashboard in a single app? I tried to open an older project and I found the App State codes were different in the main.dart Project A (the one that's recent and I've been recently working on) //////////////////////////////////// Project B (the older project): I'm not sure if this has anything to do with their update from June 12. It does not load the value and always return null even if the app state variable is set to Persisted. This never happened before the June 12 update. This is the flow from our project. As you can see theres a snackbar at the top. thats the one that displayed. but after storing it, the values become null. The first snack bar displayed the source data correctly But the 2nd snack bar didn't appear and threw an error on the console log which means the data from the app state is null even if the source data is valid (since the first snack bar displayed it) See more ➕ 2 5 replies SR STIVEN RAMIREZ a day ago · Posted in Breaking Issues RECENT UPDATE BREAKS APP FUNCTIONALITY My app was working perfectly before the recent update. Now, for some reason, that no longer works. Specifically: Parent Object = Type "Person" A "Person" has a "Name" (which is a String can set directly with no problem) A "Person" also has a "History", which is a List of "Interactions" (these are custom data types and it's where I'm having the problem) Again, when I create a new Person, I used to be able to add to their History with no problem at any time after creation. But in recent builds of FlutterFlow, that no longer works. It also doesn't throw any errors. It just doesn't do anything. Anyone else running into this or have ideas of what might be happening? Our app involves a structure where an entity contains a list of sub-entities, and each sub-entity contains another list of items. We can add entities to the main list without any issues, but adding sub-entities or items results in an error. This issue occurs in both simple and complex data structures. I created a new app for testing it, and the issue also happens whenever we try to add items to a list that is a field of an item inside another list. The application should handle the addition of items to nested lists seamlessly, whether the lists are initially empty or not. Unmodifiable list should not occur on flutterflow. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a New FlutterFlow App 2. Create three data types. Set one field on dataType1 to be a list of dataType2 items. And one field on dataType2 to be a list of dataType3 items. 3. Create an app state persisted variable that is a list of dataType1 items. 4. Create a simple UI that allows you to add dataType1 to that app state list. 5. Create a simple UI that allows you to add dataType2 items to the field that is an empty list of dataType2 items on that dataType1 you added. 6. Observe the error. 7. See that if you implement a "clear value" action to that dataType2 empty list, it will let you add them.
