Identified by its distinctive field stone pillars, the gateway to the Veterans Administration Hospital, Redfield Parkway is known for its long standing traditions. Flowers fill the lampost circles each Memorial Day, rows of brightly decorated Christmas trees greet travelers each holiday season. Also known as the "Avenue of the Flags" the neighborhoods most impressive tradition is its display of 18 American flags which line the medians on various holidays.
