Why this race matters

As the race for House control remains close, it becomes easier to see how
redistricting could give Republicans a majority. The GOP had a strong night in
Florida anyways, but an aggressive gerrymander from Gov. Ron DeSantis helped in
close seats such as FL-13. On the flip side, New York — where Democrats' attempt
to gerrymander was struck down by the courts — could be one of the party's
biggest disappointments.
