Pinkerton Scholarship
up to full tuition

- DETAILS -
The Pinkerton Scholarship is a competitive, need-based scholarship meant to be
an example of the University's recognition of access to higher education for
students from traditionally underrepresented groups.
Transfer Scholarships
Vary in amount up to $8,000 per year

- DETAILS -
Incoming transfer students who have completed a minimum of 24 academic credits
will be considered for a transfer scholarship. Incoming transfer students who
have completed between 12 and 23 academic credits will be reviewed individually.
All transfer students seeking to be considered as a candidate for a transfer
scholarship must submit a completed application for admission by our priority
deadline of November 15th for spring term and February 1st for fall term to be
considered. </br></br> Transfer scholarships may be renewed annually. Renewed
scholarship amounts will be directly connected to the student’s semester of
entry. The director of Financial Aid will review each scholarship recipient’s
academic record each semester. It is important that each recipient is fully
aware of the grade point average (GPA) that each scholarship has attached to it
for renewal. Students must enroll in a full-time course load for each semester.
Broadwell Chinn Award
$18,000

Recognizes diversity among students who exhibit a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or
higher.
Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) Scholarships
Approximately $1000

- DETAILS -
Suzhou Centennial College is an approved institution for Suzhou Industrial Park
(SIP) scholarships. Approximately 20% of International Students attending Suzhou
Centennial College will be eligible for scholarships from Suzhou Industrial Park
after first semester, based on academic merit.

Community College Transfer Scholarship
Up To $9,000 (over 3 year peroid)

- DETAILS -
A scholarship awarded to students who have recently completed a significant
amount of coursework at a Tennessee Board of Regents community college with at
least a 3.00 transferable cumulative college GPA. It is renewable if the student
maintains 12 credit hours each semester with a 3.00 overall GPA and completes 75
hours of university service each semester. A limited number of these
scholarships will be awarded.

target="_blank">The Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM)</a> awards some
merit-based scholarships to graduate students in Fall and Spring semesters. Each
scholarship may have specific requirements based on the purpose of the
scholarship, however, the JSOM Graduate Scholarship Committee will consider
applicants for all available scholarships. <br><br> Scholarship requirements may
include, but are not limited to: academic performance, anticipated graduation
date, graduate program of study, residency, leadership, community service, work
experience and level of student organization involvement.

Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarships (TELS) are offered by the state of
Tennessee. It is required that you complete a FAFSA to be awarded this
scholarship. There are many categories. To see if you may be eligible, please
consult the Southwest Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship (TELS) Web page.
Final certification made by Southwest is required to receive funds once all
paperwork has been submitted, so start early!
