DISCOVER INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE COMPONENTS, MATERIALS, CONCEPTS AND NEW SUPPLIERS

iVT Expo is an annual international exhibition (originally launched in 2018)
that showcases the latest components and technologies from leading international
suppliers. The show has a compact format with 150-200 exhibitors, giving
engineers and designers of industrial vehicles a highly efficient environment in
which to review the latest technologies and future concepts without all the
inconvenience and complexity of many of the older giant industry events.

iVT Expo only showcases the components, services and technologies that go into
making the next generation of industrial vehicles and improving manufacturing
and testing processes.

WHAT’S ON SHOW?

Latest new materials; new engine technologies, including electric motors and
hybrid applications; new control systems; sensors; testing and validation
services and technologies, from durability rigs to EMC and NDT technologies;
equipment for cabs; technologies required for operator-free/driverless vehicles;
and innovative ideas that will help manufacturers of industrial vehicles improve
product design, efficiency and thus sales – all under one roof!

Vehicle categories covered by iVT Expo include anything from off-road loaders,
mining equipment and diggers, to tractors, cranes and lift-trucks. In short,
technologies and services for every class of industrial vehicle are on display.

There is also a specialized pay-to-attend conference that features tracks on
autonomous industrial vehicle technology; electric and hybrid industrial vehicle
technology; and cab design, controls, ergonomics and HMI. More than 80 experts
will address the critical trends shaping future vehicle development.

The exhibition, which is closed to the general public, is completely free to
attend. It’s in Hall 11.1 at the Köln Messe in Cologne on June 28 and 29, 2023.

Two days, 150+ exhibitors, 80+ conference speakers and a fantastic turnout of
visitors from across the industry – Industrial Vehicle Technology (iVT) Expo,
which was held at the Köln Messe in Germany on June 28 & 29, 2023, was a

I had a great session at iVT Expo in Cologne as a guest speaker. I shared some
insights on how OEMs and Tier 1s in the mobility industry have been using the
Microsoft Azure cloud for a number of years now for the testing and validation
of autonomous industrial vehicles autonomous operations (AVOps), ADAS and AD at
scale. Then I delved into the building blocks (including generative AI for scene
and scenarios generation) needed on the Azure Cloud for a robust collaborative
digital engineering platform for designing, testing, simulating and validating
these vehicles. I loved the interactive nature of the session and the topical,
probing questions (safety, homologation, ML models for certification, off-road
ADAS/AD use cases) by the audience. Thank you, Tim Sandford [conference director
for iVT Conference], for the invitation; I’m looking forward to speaking again
at iVT Expo

The Autonomous Hardware, Software, Testing and Validation track is exclusively
dedicated to the design and development of highly automated and unmanned
construction, mining, agricultural, materials handling, industrial and
off-highway vehicles. The track will focus on case studies and applications,
testing and validation, and simulation and software.

The Electric, Hybrid and Alternative Powertrain Solutions track is exclusively
dedicated to the design and development of electric, hybrid and alternative
fuels technologies for the construction, mining, agricultural, materials
handling, industrial and off-highway vehicle industry.

The Cab Design, Ergonomics, Controls, HMI & Human Factors track will explore
next-generation cabin design and future technologies for construction, mining,
agricultural, materials handling, industrial and off-highway vehicles. Topics
will include enhanced productivity, operator comfort, display systems,
electronics and operator & workforce safety.
