WELCOME TO THE GIBBERLINGS THREE

The Gibberlings Three (G3) is a very active modding community for the Infinity
Engine, which powers games such as Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II, Icewind
Dale, Icewind Dale II and Planescape: Torment, both the originals and the
Enhanced Editions. We also feature mods for Neverwinter Nights II. Feel free to

JANUARY 1: ICEWIND DALE CROSSMOD BANTER PACK V2 RELEASED

The Icewind Dale Crossmod Banter Pack adds crossmod content - including banters,
interjections and romance conflicts - to several NPC mods for Icewind Dale:
Enhanced Edition, as well as serving as a hub for crossmod of future mods for
IWD:EE.

Version 2 adds content for Lava's Xikâsz and makes a ton of changes
under-the-hood.

DECEMBER 13, 2023: G3 WELCOMES THE TALENTS OF FAERÛN MOD: BETA 1 RELEASED

Talents of Faerûn (ToF) is a new mod by DavidW, author of Sword Coast
Stratagems. 

ToF is a collection of about 85 mini-mods for the Enhanced Edition versions of
Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II, and Icewind Dale, partially inspired by
existing mods and tabletop Dungeons and Dragons resources. It contains many
optional tweaks to various parts of gameplay, focusing on expanding and
rebalancing player character abilities. Features include 150-odd new high-level
abilities, a new 'feat' system where lower-level characters gain abilities every
few levels, revisions to existing kits, new classes, new kits for multi-class
characters, new types of magical specialization, a dozen or so new spells, many
spell tweaks, 20-odd new gods for clerics to worship, a subrace system, a
revised system of cleric/druid spells, and tweaks to the rules for ability
scores and proficiencies.

Talents of Faerûn is currently in 'beta', meaning that I think it ought to be
recreationally playable but almost certainly contains significant bugs that my
own testing has not discovered. Use at own risk.

NOVEMBER 27, 2023: SWORD COAST STRATAGEMS UPDATES TO VERSION 35

Sword Coast Stratagems is a collection of interconnected mini-mods for Baldur's
Gate (on the BGT/BGTUTU/BGEE versions) and Baldur's Gate II. It is primarily a
tactical and AI-enhancement mod: the idea is to make the game's combat more
interesting, tactically challenging, and realistic by more effective use of, and
choices of, creatures' abilities. It also contains a few rule tweaks and
ease-of-use features.

Version 35 is a fairly substantial release, with 60-odd bugfixes and
compatibility fixes, tentative support for IWDEE, new components, and a lot

NOVEMBER 17, 2023: VERSION 6 OF AMBER NOW AVAILABLE

Amber is a tiefling rogue of a chaotic good alignment, possessed of a few
special abilities. Despite being fairly intelligent, she can at times be rather
blunt when communicating with other people. This trait rarely earns her friends
among the people she meets, and the feeling of initial dislike is usually
mutual. But underneath her prickly manners, she has a good heart and is prepared
to go to great lengths to help those who she sees to be weak and in need of aid.

Version 6 fixes the text encoding issues of v5.1 and fixes a handful of other

NOVEMBER 9, 2023: FORGOTTEN ARMAMENT V4.0 RELEASED

Forgotten Armament official release for version 4.0 which brings the following
enhancements:

 * Added new Armor Overhaul component.
 * Added 28 new items.
 * Hindo's Doom +4 now provides immunity to disease and level drain.
 * Gram the Sword of Grief (upgraded) becomes a +6 enchanted weapon instead of
   +5.
 * Ravager +6 now deals 1d10 slashing damage if a creature is immune to the
   vorpal strike.
 * World's Edge (BGEE) and Harbinger +2 (BG2EE) share the same item resource.
   Updated to ensure the correct item receives the updates.
 * Add Ruby Ray Scrolls to Trademeet Store component.
 * Only one charge on the Greenstone Amulet at all stores and the Beholder Lair.
 * Corrected bug on Bone Club where incorrect eff files were applied.
 * Updated Purifier +5 description updates.
 * Fixed multiple minor item bugs.

NOVEMBER 6, 2023: ROAD TO DISCOVERY UPDATES TO V3.0 WITH RUSSIAN TRANSLATION!

Road to Discovery (RtD) is a mod for Siege of Dragonspear in a BGEE or EET
setting.

Authored by jastey with one component from Lauriel's Themed Tweaks mod, RtD
opens up roleplaying by allowing the player to discuss and reveal what they
learn about Caelar Argent and her crusade with allies in the coalition and other
NPCs throughout the campaign.

OCTOBER 23, 2023: VERSION 1 OF ZAKRION FOR BG2 RELEASED!

G3 is pleased to announce the next chapter of @jmaeq's NPC mod, Zakrion. This
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal mod continues Zakrion's
story from Baldur's Gate I. Zakrion is a True Neutral Human Duelist (kit from
Sword and Fist), and he can be found after the pirate encounter in the Sea's
Bounty Tavern. The mod includes custom portraits, voicing, and a soundtrack,
player-initiated dialogues, items, quests, a friendship track, two romance paths
with a Female Human, Elf, Half-Elf, or Halfling PC, and numerous banters and

OCTOBER 22, 2023: V22 OF CROSSMOD BANTER PACK FOR BG2 NOW AVAILABLE

The Crossmod Banter Pack for Baldur's Gate II is a mod that adds banters,
interjections, and romance conflicts between mod NPCs. @Lava's been a very busy
weasel, and we have one of the largest updates ever for the Crossmod Banter Pack
with 130 new NPC banters. You can download the mod, learn more on the project

OCTOBER 2, 2023: ENHANCED POWERGAMING SCRIPTS V12.4

Enhanced Powergaming Scripts official release for version 12.4 which brings the
following enhancements:

 * Updated enemy simulacrum scripts.
 * Fixed bug with SR if EEex is not present.
 * Added Battlerager's Reckless Abandon rage ability.
 * Updated ability use and attack checking to account for kits/weapons that can
   bypass pfmw.
 * Updated timing for bard song (if 1 turn bard song installed), so bards will
   attack between singing.
 * Character's will now identify if they need IH and they do not have it nor
   GWW.
 * Tracking to ensure charmed PCs are not attacked by the party.
 * More checks around use of Holy Power.
 * Corrected bug with MiH Mass Negative Plane Protection not properly being
   tracked in scripts.
 * Will now use Wands of Spell Striking to cast Breach and Pierce Magic.
 * Will NOT physically attack Slayer change Imoen.

SEPTEMBER 27, 2023: JASTEY'S SOD TWEAKPACK UPDATES TO V12 WITH SPANISH VERSION!

Jastey's Tweaks for SoD and EET (and BGT) is mainly meant for the SoD part of
BG:EE and EET (except for the last component which introduces Imoen's SoD
portrait into BGII).  It deals with some tweaks that I found useful for my own
game.

The mod updates to v12 with a Spanish version, by ElGamerViejuno!
