Where man goes, industry follows.

After the first successful extraterrestrial flight by NASA's Ingenuity
helicopter on Mars in 2021, it was only a matter of time until the entire
surface of the red planet was mapped.

With this data, private companies Axiom and Collins collaborated to quickly
devise a martian-climate-ready space-suit, the Linus AxEMU - a development of
the Apollo A7L suits used in the moon landings - allowing people to walk safely
on Mars.

With this last piece in place, a mysterious corporation slid to the forefront
and became vanguards of Martian mining methods. They call themselves the Mars
Mining Company.

The Mars Mining Company quickly monopolised all mining operations on Mars,
setting up high-quality pop-up Mines available to the public for purchase,
essentially franchising the mining process.

Like the California gold rush of the 19th century, prospectors flocked to the
Olympus Mons region of Mars seeking their fortune in the soil. High-tech mining
operations sprang into production as billions are invested on earth to
accelerate mining technologies.

Today, anyone with the capital to get there can set up one of these mines.


MINE TOKENS

Mars Mining Company uses Proof of Work NFT mining, and was inspired by mineable
NFTs like POW NFT.

Each mine is a mineable token. Tokens are mined in your browser using the
in-built miner on this site. You will need to connect your Meta Mask wallet in
order to mine tokens.


EARN ETH

Each token also gathers Ethereum as more are minted. As long as you keep your
mine open and more mines are opened, your token will increase in value. The
amount it gathers depends on how resource rich your mine is i.e higher value
minerals gather more ETH.


EVOLVING ART

When minted your mine will be very shallow but as it's value grows so will it's
complexity. The artwork is a totally unique and procedurally generated mine
based on the tokens hash. Watch as your miners delve deeper into the
resource-rich Mars.
