Changes to the American Express® Corporate Cardmember Framework Agreement Changes to the American Express® Corporate Cardmember Framework Agreement Dear Sir/Madam, We are writing to inform you that we have refreshed the wording of the Corporate Cardmember Framework Agreement (now titled “Cardmember Terms and Conditions”). The reason for this refresh is to meet new regulatory requirements as well as to standardize the terms of our services across Europe. WHAT’S CHANGING AND WHERE CAN I FIND THE NEW TERMS AND CONDITIONS? Please note that for sake of transparency some provisions have been deleted, rephrased or added to the Corporate Cardmember Framework Agreement. For your convenience, the summary of the key changes is listed below. To view and download the new Cardmember Terms and Conditions and the summary of changes please click below or go to our website: Cardmember Terms and Conditions Guide to Fees and Commissions for Cardmember Summary of changes for Cardmember WHAT ACTION SHOULD I TAKE? Please read the new Terms and Conditions carefully. They will become effective on 15 May 2022 ("Effective Date"). By continuing to use your Card after the Effective Date, you will be agreeing to the new Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept the new Terms and Conditions, you can immediately terminate the agreement you have with us (free of charge) by notifying us before the Effective Date. In case of raising objections to the new Terms and Conditions without termination notice, your agreement will expire on 14 May 2022. SUMMARY OF THE KEY CHANGES Summary of key changes relating to the American Express® Corporate Card Cardmember Framework Agreement. * Clause 9. Fees and Commissions We have removed the fees: (i) for the provision of Statement copies; (ii) for copies of Charge Receipts (iii) an additional information fee for information regarding the Account or Charges which exceeds the information included in the Statement. We have a fee for a new accelerated Card service, which your Company’s PA has been informed about. All these changes have been reflected accordingly in Guide to Fees and Commissions. We have also added new points e and f. * Clause 11. Charges in a Foreign Currency We have included more information about charges refunds in foreign currency (b and d), and added opt out language according to option offered under Regulation (EU) 2019/518 (point e). * Clause 12. Liability for Charges We have revised the definition of “Combined Liability” without altering its meaning. Summary of changes in Guide to Fees and Commissions * Items 2,3,6 and 7 of the actual Guide to Fees and Commissions We have removed the fees: (i) for the provision of Statement copies; (ii) for copies of Charge Receipts (iii) an additional information fee for information regarding the Account or Charges which exceeds the information included in the Statement (iv) fee for urgent Card service which will no longer be offered. * Item 4 of the new Guide to Fees and Commissions As we are offering new accelerated Card Service, we have included the relevant fee into the Guide to Fees and Commissions.
