HIP-22: BASED HAIR

Dear HairForce, We herein propose to launch two pools on Base: HAIR/POO and
HAIR/ETH. Both pools are proposed to have $100k liquidity of both assets, with
the marketcap of POO set to $1mn and the marketcap of HAIR set to its current
value on the Ethereum mainchain. Long live HairDAO.

HIP-21: JUMPMAN MEETS DR. CLAIRE HIGGINS (IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON)

Dear HairForce, We herein propose to test 11 Twist inhibitors on human dermal
papilla cells and hair follicles, in partnership with Dr. Claire Higgins at the
Imperial College of London. Twist-1 inhibition remains HairDAO’s top protein
target, due to data from human genome-wide association studies (GWAS), chromatin
and transcriptomic analysis of human scalp, human dermal papilla cell culture
data, mice data, and downstream interactions of Twist-1 dimerization that are
also highly implicated in hair loss (such as FGFRs, RSPOs, BMPs, SOXs, Wnts,
NF-kB, GATA6, and ALX4). Please find Jumpman’s complete thesis attached here:
https://discord.com/channels/1102313145575419996/1157334902518333621/1196982175518687233.
The study will cost £202,502 ($255,846.51), along with $9,665 for custom small
molecule synthesis and siRNA procurement, in exchange for HairDAO owning 100% of
the IP. The study is estimated to take 1 year, broken into the following steps:
Step 1: Culture occipital dermal papilla cells with 11 Twist inhibitors at three
concentrations for 48 hours, to be determined by Dr. Higgins. Isolate RNA,
convert to cDNA, and perform PCR for Twist 1 and Twist 2. Conduct Twist-1 and 2
antibody immunostaining, to measure respective protein levels. Perform Philpott
assay with 5 occipital follicles, 5 occipital follicles with 11 Twist
inhibitors, 5 occipital follicles with testosterone (DHT mimic), and 5 occipital
follicles with testosterone plus 11 different Twist inhibitors (1 biological
replicate per inhibitor). Collect 2 follicles at 3 days to perform
immunohistochemistry – Ki67, Twist1, Twist 2, caspase 3. Culture 3 follicles for
10 days and measure growth rate/catagen entry. Step 2: Perform Philpott model in
matched frontal and occipital follicles with 3 Twist inhibitors (3 biological
replicates per inhibitor). Culture follicles for 3 days and collect samples to
perform RNAseq. Culture follicles for 10 days to measure growth rate/catagen
entry. Analyse RNA-seq data and generate lists of differentially expressed
genes. Philpott model will be with or without DHT…this is to be decided after
Aim 1. The 3 Twist inhibitors for Step 2 are also to be selected after Aim 1.
All samples to be disposed by Dr. Higgins – it is expected the experiments will
use up the samples completely. (c) Deliverables: HairDAO is to provide Dr.
Higgins with Twist inhibitors. Dr. Higgins is to purchase the follicles,
antibodies, and other consumables. Dr. Higgins is to provide HairDAO with raw
data results and a short-written report with methodology used. (d) Dependencies:
HairDAO to ship (at HairDAO’s cost) to Dr. Higgins all inhibitors (compounds)
required for the Services. SCHEDULE B - PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS The Price: The
Client shall pay Imperial Consultants the sum of £202,502 + VAT and any other
applicable taxes. Schedule of Payment: Imperial Consultants shall invoice the
Client for the full (100%) Price upon contract signature, which invoice shall
become immediately payable by Client on receipt of the invoice.

HIP-20: TOKEN SUNSET

As HairDAO continues to grow, our ability to budget becomes increasingly
important. Since inception, we’ve tried our best to ensure that our community
participates in the upside of what we are building via several rounds of token
rewards. Accordingly, we offered HAIR rewards pre-token mint, keeping track in
this google doc:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wchZmeaZzxCRs8gzcprVMdhtfkH4BW75sijHH0besdM/edit?usp=sharing
We then issued HAIR rewards at the end of each one of our first HAIR CUTS
editions, which can be found here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1pcyj0e_RQZu2raJ64U6JHb9QIm42Mqwb
While HAIR has been distributed to all of our most active members, several
members have never claimed their HAIR rewards. As the HAIR token continues to
appreciate, it will become increasingly difficult to budget if we allow
community members to claim HAIR that was issued nearly two years ago. As such, I
propose that we set a firm deadline of January 17th, 2024 to claim your HAIR by
posting your wallet address in the #hair-drop channel of our Discord server. If
you have not posted your wallet address in the server by that date, you waive
all rights to unclaimed HAIR rewards granted up until now. Long Live HairDAO.

HIP-19: HAIRY SITUATION

As has been discussed at length for the past three months in our public
governance channel
(https://discord.com/channels/1102313145575419996/1111690716486303845/1181299032254070875),
there has been an ongoing dispute between Molecule and HairDAO core team
members. For HairDAO’s series of events, please read this document:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1SVRgvj2gzfOByk24aYNpYrxtPW-WOK1HOqQ0iLHVNGE/edit?usp=sharing
For Molecule’s series of events, please read this document:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/139Gnrp11N2BA0JSaUPlXpl98IAcgOxBS0quP1DsxAvQ/edit?usp=sharing
TL;DR: Molecule believes that they are entitled to 6.9% of the total outstanding
HAIR token supply. Molecule cites the spirit of the ACGT and WAGMI contracts, in
which Molecule provided a $100k grant to HairDAO in exchange for a warrant to
purchase 6.9% of the total HAIR token supply. HairDAO core team members believe
that Molecule is entitled to 1.9% of the total outstanding HAIR token supply,
due to that Molecule is legally owed 0 HAIR under the ACGT and WAGMI contracts,
as well as that Molecule’s CEO, CLO, Director of Product, and several other
employees subsequently agreed to vest their token allocation in HIP-2. At the
time that Molecule and HairDAO terminated their relationship, only 1.9% of
Molecule’s HAIR tokens had vested. While Molecule team members initiated the
relationship termination, HairDAO core believes that the termination should be
ratified. Next Steps: Voting “For” this proposal will ratify the termination of
the relationship between Molecule and HairDAO. If passed, authorized
representatives from Molecule will be required to sign the following contract,
forfeiting all future claims against HairDAO:
Once executed, HairDAO will transfer the owed HAIR to a smart contract that
unlocks on 2/26/24 (per HIP-2) and is under the control of a wallet selected by
Molecule. Should this proposal pass but Molecule refuses to accept HairDAO’s
decision within two weeks of the vote finalizing, HairDAO will take the position
that Molecule is entitled to 0 HAIR tokens, per the ACGT and WAGMI contracts.
Voting “Against” this proposal signals that you believe further negotiation is
needed between Molecule and HairDAO in order to find a more fair resolution. A
vote against could mean that you believe the current offer of 1.9% of the total
outstanding Hair supply is either too harsh or too generous. Should the
community vote against this proposal, we will conduct another survey to gauge
community sentiment before proposing either a higher or lower offer. Conclusion:
We understand the significant economic value at stake in this vote. As such,
there were concerns of one party or the other gaming the vote to end up in their
favor - ie, buying tokens on the open market to vote for their side before
selling. In a gesture of good faith, both HairDAO founders have waived the right
to vote with our HIP-2 team token allocations. Instead, we will both only use
the tokens that we have purchased on the open market to vote. Our dispute with
Molecule has been unpleasant but it is also an incredible opportunity to set the
precedents by which we would like to govern ourselves. As we come to our final
decisions on the matter, we must be acutely aware of the ripple effects that
such governance decisions will have on the long-term sustainability of HairDAO.
After all, if we cannot create an antifragile organization that supports dispute
resolution in a fair and just manner, we will never solve hair loss…which is the
main reason we’re all here! Long Live HairDAO.

HIP-17: LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN: TOPICAL TRH AS A NON-DRUG HAIR GROWTH-STIMULATORY
AGENT

Attention HairForce ! I am hereby reposting the proposal to fund the second
collaboration between HairDAO and Cutaneon, who also developed our T34
treatment. While our first vote had 100% approval, it did not reach quorum.
Additionally, this vote will take place over 24 hours as Ralf has put a time
constraint on winning the deal. The brief concept is to develop a hair
follicle-targeting vehicle that delivers a therapeutically effective dose of
thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) in order to stimulate hair growth and/or
reduce hair loss. TRH is expected to be synergistic with our existing Thyroid
Hormone treatment as it operates within the same hypothalamus-pituitary-thyroid
axis yet it operates via a completely different mechanism of action. Thus, we
believe TRH will be additive to our Thyroid Hormone Treatment. The terms of the
agreement with Cutaneon are as follows: Cutaneon receives 256.5 K € for one year
of research 135K € payable upon contract signature 40.5K* € payable after
Milestone 1 Interim Report 40.5K € payable after Milestone 2 Interim Report
40.5K € payable after receipt of Final Report HairDAO owns 95% of the IP
generated by the study HairDAO has the option to purchase the remaining 5% of
the IP from Cutaneon with a 10x cap on valuation. For additional information on
the concept and strategy behind this study, please read the document linked
below and/or watch the episode of the Hairy Matters podcast linked below:
