HOT-AIR BALLOON

Hot-air Balloon is a simple activity for helping the team identify things that
makes them move faster, and things that slow them down.



Running the activity:

 1. Ask participants to write notes and place them on the following two areas:
    Fire and hot air, and Forces pulling down.
    * Fire and hot air: What helps us go higher? What are the things that push
    us forward?
    * Forces pulling down: Which are the forces pulling us down?
 2. Group the notes and discuss.

This is a common retrospective activity for data gathering. It is an alternative
to keep the team engaged while slightly changing the format.

 

Remote-team advice: This activity works well for remote teams. Use a remote
board of your choice.
