GREAT UPGRADE!
Upgraded to this electric kettle from a cheap plastic electric kettle that

WORKS GREAT BUT GETS HOT
This kettle heats to your perfect temperature, and I love that it then holds
water at that temp for 30 minutes! But the outside gets so hot that anything
more than a brief brush against the kettle will cause a burn, and even that
brief brush is painful.

Is the filter cleanable?
Yes, the filter can be removed by grasping it & pulling upward. Proceed to run
under hot water & rub with a clean cloth or brush. Replace the filter; it will
snap back into place.
What is the average time to boil the maximum capacity of 1.7 litres? What does
"fast heat-up" mean?
To bring to full boil of 100°C takes approximately 7 minutes (give or take). The
full capacity of 1.75 litres can steep just over 11 cups of tea, based on the
average tea cup - enough for a party full of mad hatters!
What does the setting "Delicate" mean?
Green & white teas generally have more delicate leaves. Delicate leaves steeped
at too high of a temperature may burn & leave a bitter flavour in the cup
hence a "Delicate" pre-programmed setting is an option to ensure greater
flavour when brewed in slightly cooler water.
