For six decades, The Center for Workforce Inclusion has been at the forefront,
pioneering employer-driven, forward-thinking solutions for workforce
development, specifically tailored to empower older job seekers from low-income
households.

ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR ADULTS 50+

Our nation’s labor force is increasingly dependent on older workers. By 2028
workers aged 55 or older will represent more than 25% of our labor force. But
only 4% of firms have committed to programs that help integrate older workers
into their talent pool.

Recruiting and training older workers is critical to the success of employers,
job seekers, and communities. The Center for Workforce Inclusion, with 60 years
of experience, is leading the way. Since our founding, we have empowered nearly
500,000 clients to attain in-demand skills, overcome barriers to employment, and
secure employment with more than 5,000 employers in industries that range from
financial services, hospitality, and office administration to social services,
health care, transportation, and manufacturing.

DIGITAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (DCP)

A cornerstone of our current work is addressing the bias related to age and
technology – that older workers are not digitally savvy and that they do not
want to learn digital skills. The DCP is a cutting-edge program empowers older
job seekers with in-demand skills and a means to showcase those skills to
potential employers through certification.

EQUITY SUMMIT 2023

The annual Equity Summit is the only national conference focused exclusively on
advancing equitable economic opportunities for older job seekers at the
intersection of age, race, and gender.
