SECRETARY WALSH SPEAKS TO THE U.S. CONFERENCE OF MAYORS

Secretary Marty Walsh spoke on January 21 to the U.S. Conference of Mayors,
where he addressed labor dynamics, including explaining the underlying factors
driving workers across the country to seek out better work opportunities. Walsh
also announced the department’s Good Jobs Initiative, an effort we’re leading to
help improve job quality across the economy.
