WELCOME TO OUR 15TH CENTURY BOUTIQUE COTTAGE IN HISTORIC LAVENHAM, SUFFOLK. 


Blacksmith's Cottage sleeps two people and is located in the very heart of
Lavenham, Suffolk which is described as one of the UK's best preserved medieval
villages. This enchanting spot is home to some of Suffolk's finest produce, with
the award winning butchers and East Anglia's 'most loved bakery' just a short
stroll from the cottage. Surrounded by traditional pubs, tearooms, restaurants,
independent shops, galleries and a luxurious spa, it is a truly captivating
place to explore and get utterly lost in its fascinating history, there is even
a wine bar and kitchen next door.

Our open plan kitchen is fully equipped with the following facilities:

 * Dishwasher
 * Microwave
 * Induction Hob & Oven
 * Fridge with Freezer Compartment
 * Toaster
 * Kettle
 * Cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils


All guests will receive a welcome hamper which will include tea, coffee, bread,
milk, butter and locally farmed juice.

The lounge area is stocked with books, magazines, a smart TV with DVDs and a
range of local guides and maps to help you plan your stay. There is free wifi
and a wireless DAB / Internet radio which connects to your smart phone.

Upstairs features a gorgeous king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a large
shower and separate free standing bath. We provide fluffy towels, bathrobes,
high quality Egyptian cotton bedding and White Company toiletries.

We've carefully restored this 15th century cottage with luxury in mind, the
walls are lined with exposed original timbers, all cabinetry is bespoke, and
there are stylish nods to its industrial heritage as a former Blacksmith's
workshop with hand forged metal work throughout. It's the perfect place to relax
and unwind with a loved one in one of Suffolk's prettiest villages.

We have a small enclosed decked area outside, which can be used to store bikes
if needed. There is ample free on street parking available.

Lavenham is very dog friendly, if you'd like to bring your pooch along, please
contact us via e-mail to confirm prior to booking - we can accommodate one small
house-trained dog.
