I bought these in order to fix my mac book pro with retina 15 inch mid 2012
because the screws in the bottom panel kept coming loose and i had a few
missing. Screws i bought were great, these seemed a little big but they did the
trick. I hope. Theres one screw that's still not quite right but i dont think
its important enough to take it to the apple store to fix. The screws are p5,
this pack of screw drivers were p5 and p6. I used the p5 driver and it didn't
quite fit in the screw but it fit enough for me to tighten the screws enough
that they shouldn't fall out again. Except for that one.

I purchased these to swap out a Battery in a 2010 MacBook Pro, but much to my
surprise, two similar screwdrivers (of much lesser quality), were included in
the box with the Anker replacement battery I purchased.
So, while these screwdrivers are good, they may not be necessary. Read the
description of your replacement battery carefully. I have a feeling screwdrivers
may be bundled with most, if not all of them.

Bought these to replace battery on A1286 mid-2009 15" Macbook Pro. [The battery,
sold for A1286, came with a tri-lobe screwdriver, which was only introduced in
later models.] Unfortunately, the P6 was too big for the battery screws (though
I thought they were supposed to be P6), and the P5 was a loose/sloppy fit, so
that only 1 of the 3 screws came without stripping. To finish the job, I finally
ground the P5 tip down slightly to get a tighter fit, but still ended up
replacing the pentalobe screws with philips.
The basic/originating problem seemed to be that the P6 screwdriver just would
not fit into the screw heads. It's hard to know how much of the frustration
should be blamed on the fit of the tool(s), and how much on the basic idea of
pentalobe screws (one of Apple's bad ideas).

The items is described as 2 pentalobe screwdrivers, size 5 and size 6, I only
received size 5. The package looked to be opened already. The packaging said
size 5 and 6 as well, but yet there was only 5. Order elsewhere, for the money,
an absolute rip off.
Update 5/3:
After 8 days I did receive the size 6 screwdriver in the mail. I also received
an apology email. I purchased a size 6 from ebay that worked great and got here
before i even needed this one so kind of unnecessary. I appreciate the effort so
I have given an extra star.

Great pentalobe screwdrivers, exactly what I needed. I used this on my mid 2013
Macbook Air to repair the screen, fits perfect, and I did not have any issues
with it breaking or anything like other users. Obviously the screws are very
tiny and need to be delicately removed. As long as you know what you are doing
these are great screwdrivers and will last you for all your small, PC repair
projects!
