They fail and will continue to fail as long as their focus is on profits over
quality products. It's really that simple. A look at job boards ( Indeed, vangst
etc) and employee past and current reviews shows an overwhelming number of low
scores describing unsafe working conditions, inferior( early harvest) and
tainted (mold/ pesticides) products/ flowers being produced as well as scathing
reports of upper mgmt. being cannabis ignorant, out of touch and over
compensated. Greed is the enemy of quality.

GENTRY WHITEHOUSE

@davidking you hit the nail on the head. this is a product whose intended use is
to be ingested or inhaled, and subtly marketed for health benefits, yet cut rate
MSOs want to produce it like any other tchotchke. putting flower in a baggie
with colorful stickers is clearly not the formula for success. the MSOs that are
contracting now are wise to do so now, as federal/global reform continues to
takes shape compelling heightened investor sentiment.

The strategic exits of cannabis MSOs like Trulieve and Cresco Labs from certain
state markets highlight a complex industry scenario. David King and Gentry
Whitehouse’s concerns about balancing corporate motives and market realities are
valid. These exits reflect not just profit-driven decisions but also responses
to regulatory uncertainties and economic pressures. It's a challenging
landscape, where maintaining profitability and qulaity is a delicate balance.

While concerns of corporate greed are understandable, these strategic moves are
also adaptive responses to a fluctuating market. The potential federal reforms
like marijuana rescheduling and the SAFER Banking Act add complexity to MSOs'
strategies. Achieving a balance between financial stability and responsible
business practices is essential. The cannabis industry's growth depends on
companies, regulators, and stakeholders working together. This is a mighty
complicated industry.

It shouldn't be so complicated. For a few hundred years, small often family
farms all around the world produced enough resin to support demand and in recent
years met demand despite Govmt eradication programs. It's a small farm to
cottage industry first and foremost as all ag/ food products should be but when
greedy investment bankers want in on the "industry" they know nothing ( john
snow) about it all turns to shit I'd never buy.
