THE ALBERTA CORD BLOOD BANK IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING CORD BLOOD AS OF SEPTEMBER
1ST, 2014.

Thank you for visiting the website of the Alberta Cord Blood Bank, Canada’s
first public umbilical cord blood bank.

We would like to congratulate Canadian Blood Services on its establishment of a
public cord blood collection program. We are pleased that Canadian Blood
Services has assumed this role in serving Canadians. We would like to thank all
of the Doctors, Nurses, Midwives, Doulas and Donors that have helped us
throughout our years of public cord blood banking.

If you would still like to donate cord blood for transplantation in an unrelated
individual, please contact Canadian Blood Services for more information about
their cord blood donation program.
