The 10th season of The HISTORY® Channel's popular survival series “Alone” will push a new group of brave participants to the limit as they tap into their impressive survival skills in a fight to be the last person standing and win the $500,000 cash prize. Dropped in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada — home to vicious predators including territorial black bear, wolves, and moose — the ten survivalists will compete with each other, endure bone-chilling temperatures and face off against some of the largest animals in North America in an effort to last for as long as they can. With just ten survival items per person and enough camera gear to self-document their experiences, this is the series' toughest season yet. No camera crews. No gimmicks. “Alone” is the ultimate test of human will. Under the guidance of his father, Alan developed a passion for fishing, hunting, and archery at a young age. Fishing the small creek below his house with a worm and float developed into a love of fly fishing. Later in life, his interest in archery allowed for a natural transition to bowhunting. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, camping with his family and friends, adventure motorcycling, fly fishing the local lakes and streams, and bow hunting. Ann Rosenquist Hometown: Northern Wisconsin Early in Ann's life, she and her family made the big move from Minneapolis to a little rustic resort along the rocky shores of Lake Superior in northern Minnesota. As a five-year-old, Ann fell in love with the great outdoors and spent her childhood rambling through the forests building forts and learning about all the wondrous plants and animals. Fishing, hiking, and cross-country skiing through the boreal forests were some of her favorite activities. Ann has worked different jobs over the years including hospitality, bus driving, factory work, and even as a personal trainer and a shiitake mushroom grower. Ann and her partner Tom operate an off-grid, organic farm in far northern Wisconsin and teach various primitive skills classes at Wintercount, a primitive skill gathering in Arizona. Cade Cole Hometown: Crowheart, Wyoming Cade was born and raised in rural Texas where he spent most of his childhood hunting and fishing in the Texas Hill Country. Stories of adventure and the tales of long-gone mountain men out West inspired his imagination and fueled his hunger for the wild, which would eventually lead him to the Rocky Mountains. His lifelong passion for the pursuit and conservation of North American wildlife earned him great success as a hunting guide, and an outstanding reputation as an expert hunter and tracker. He currently resides in the foothills of the Wind River Mountain Range of Wyoming with his wife and their son. Jodi Rose Hometown: Worland, Wyoming Influenced by her homesteading grandparents and parents, Jodi leads a life of surviving and thriving in the wild. Much of Jodi's childhood and teenage years were spent on the back of a horse riding through the mountains where she and her siblings learned the art of bushcraft, wilderness survival and self-reliance. Jodi and her partner have five children together — each who were taught the generational tradition of self-reliance and living off the land at the family cattle ranch in the middle of the Wind River Indian Reservation. Jodi is passionate about living off the land and connecting to God through nature. Lee DeWilde Hometown: Huslia, Alaska Lee is one of fourteen children raised and homeschooled in the wilderness by his Caucasian father and Native mother along the Alaskan waters of the Yukon, Koyukuk and Huslia rivers. Born in the woods of the Yukon, Lee did not see another community until the age of 15 when he first flew in an airplane. Lee followed in his father's footsteps doing seasonal work in the village of Huslia during the summers and spending winters trapping north up the Huslia River and its tributaries. Later, he left the wilderness to continue his education where he earned his aircraft maintenance and pilot licenses and a mechanical engineering degree. Lee and his wife raised their children in Fairbanks and later moved back to the villages where he started an aircraft charter business. Living and serving his people back home in Huslia inspired Lee to both learn more from the elders of the land and his ancestral roots, and to educate the younger generation with what he knew. Luke Olsen Hometown: Maui, Hawaii Luke was raised in the deserts of southern Idaho at his family's hot springs resort “Miracle Hot Springs.” His parents are the authors of the #1 best-selling book “Outdoor Survival Skills” and founders of The Anasazi Foundation and other wilderness therapy programs. Luke is the youngest of eleven children. At eleven years old, two of his brothers let him tag along on a sea kayaking expedition on the sea of Cortez, and he later guided ten similar expeditions for Corps of Discovery, guiding groups through primitive wilderness expeditions, and solidifying his love for the sea. He is a PADI divemaster and surf instructor in Hawaii. Luke later moved to northern California with his wife. He currently has a glass art business “Dichroic Images,” teaches ancestral skills at Pono Outdoor, and consults for several cannabis operations in Oregon and California. Melanie Sawyer Hometown: Essex County, New York Melanie was born in the Cotswolds of England where she spent her childhood in the countryside. She was later approached and signed with a modeling agency in London, where she became the face of '88. Eventually, Melanie settled in New York City, started a family, and transitioned to working behind the scenes as a Baby Wrangler on kid's fashion shoots across the country for 24 years. Melanie volunteers for many charities; in 2013, she received the Certificate of Congressional Special Recognition for her work in the community. She now lives off grid with her fiancé and believes in sourcing as much of her food as possible directly from nature. In 2021, Melanie founded Thunderhawk Living History School which teaches and reenacts at museums, schools, and historical locations on the Eastern Coast. Mikey Helton Hometown: Rome, Georgia Mikey grew up in a small town where most of his time was spent in the wilderness. He often had to live without common comforts; this meant having no running water or electricity and leaning into living differently by hunting, tracking animals, fishing, trapping, purifying water and making fire. Mikey is a carpenter by trade. Alongside his wife and five children, Mikey practices a lot of natural and traditional methods like making natural medicines, harvesting wild foods, and crafting with natural materials. His youngest son is autistic, but even through his son's daily challenges, Mikey and his family bring healing to their situation by enjoying time in nature. Tarcisio “Taz” Ramos Dos Santos Hometown: Becket, Massachusetts and Sergipe, Brazil Taz was born and raised in the smallest state of Brazil by the Atlantic Ocean. He spent his childhood living off the land without electricity or running water before pursuing education to escape this lifestyle. In high school he fell in love with theater and studied to become a professional actor. After becoming the father of twins, Taz moved to the U.S. where he continued to pursue an acting career and distanced himself from the traditional living style he grew up with. However, after crossing the Utah desert in a survival course, he realized he had a set of valuable survival skills he could utilize and later traveled to a homestead in Western Massachusetts where he was able to reconnect with nature. He eventually moved into his treehouse, where he currently resides. Taz currently works as a direct support professional helping individuals on the autism spectrum to explore the natural world by taking them on hiking excursions on the Appalachian Trail, helping them to create gardens, learn to be musical, play sports and practice survival skills. Wyatt Black Hometown: Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada Born in Barrie, Ontario, Wyatt lived in New Lowell for nine years then moved to Dorset when his parents bought a small marina on Lake of Bays. He is the oldest of four siblings and comes from a long line of hunters, fishermen and general outdoorsmen. Early in life he ventured in the woods to fish the lakes and rivers of Ontario with his family. Old Lorne Greenaway had a trapper's shack where Wyatt alongside his family and friends would skin fur and share tricks of the trade. Wyatt attributes his trapping skills to those individuals. Wyatt and his wife are the proud parents of two boys. He is also a coach of minor league baseball and continues to play an active role in his community to make it a better place for everyone.
