9 Steps: Learn Farming for Beginners (Teaching the Basics of Home Farming)

Agriculture education for beginners is today's topic on the World of Agriculture blog, in which we always offer you many ways and topics related to the cultivation of vegetables, fruits, herbs, trees and plants of all kinds, in addition to
methods of irrigation, fertilization, and caring for plants until harvest, and many other articles related to general information about vegetables, fruits and herbs.

Man has known agriculture since antiquity, and agriculture was one of the main reasons for the prosperity of civilizations, such as the Nile River civilization, where agriculture was the main source of food, because agriculture at its
beginning was limited to cultivating what families, families or tribes needed only, and then the farming process began for trade purposes.

Learn farming for beginners - teaching the basics of home farming - the world of agriculture

Agriculture is a fun process that anyone can do without sufficient experience, and of course this matter is limited to a number of types of plants that do not require a person’s great quality of experience, or do not need special care, and
here the term home farming or home farming appeared .

Most of those who grow at home are people who do not have much experience in the field of agriculture, but they only find fun and a good hobby in planting and caring for plants and gain experience from dealing with them, and I mention this
to encourage and motivate you to start farming in your home, because it is not as difficult as you imagine, After reading this article, you can start planting one of the species that I will mention later at the end of the article.

Teaching the basics of farming for beginners and the basics of home farming

Home farming is the first step to getting to know the basics of agriculture in general, so many people do home farming as a hobby without having enough information or experience about the field of agriculture, and in general, home farming
needs you to know some things that I will explain in the following parts of this article .

Choosing the right containers for planting

You must choose pots or planting containers of a size, space, and depth appropriate for the size of the plants that you will be planting, and you must also make sure that there are drainage holes at the bottom of the pot, which allow the
excess water to escape from the soil and the plant and drain it so as not to cause damage to the plant.

Choosing the right type of soil and preparing it

Before starting the process of planting at home, you must choose the appropriate type of soil for cultivation, as there are several types suitable for home cultivation, and you can see the article on the best type of soil for home
cultivation to learn more about the different types and the difference between them.

After you have chosen the type of soil; You have to prepare it, by cleaning it and removing any weeds present in it, adding compost to it, stirring it and digging it, a process similar to the process of hoeing and plowing in large
agricultural lands. Preferably prepare the soil a week before the start of planting.

Preparation of seeds or seedlings

You can get the seeds yourself from the plant you want to grow, but it is better in the beginning to get the seeds or seedlings from places designated for this, such as nurseries and others.

Pay attention to the spacing between plants

When planting seeds or seedlings, you must leave spaces between each seed and the other, or between each seedling and the other, and the distance must be appropriate for the size of the plant at its maturity and reaching the final stage of
maturity, and you can inquire from where you get the seeds or seedlings about Spacing the seeds or seedlings of the variety you are purchasing.

Correct planting dates

Many people make mistakes when planting some types of plants, which cause the plant not to grow or die during its growth stage, and this mistake lies in not knowing the appropriate planting dates for the varieties they are planting, there
are winter crops, summer crops, and there are crops that must be planted within days or months Certain during the year, so it is best to ask the person you are buying from about the appropriate time to plant the variety you are buying.

Distinguish between indoor and outdoor plants

There are plants that cannot be grown anywhere, for example, ornamental plants, some of which you can grow outside the house, and some that can be grown indoors, and if you reverse the matter, the plant may die or not grow.

For example, you cannot grow some types of indoor ornamental plants outside the house, because they may be affected by sunlight and temperature, and there are outdoor ornamental plants that cannot grow indoors because they need sunlight for
        long periods, and so on.

plant care

Plant care is a process that you undertake from the first moments of planting seeds or seedlings, and this process is summarized in maintaining a regular irrigation program, exposing the plant to the sun and air as much as it needs, doing
the process of stirring, digging or hoeing and plowing the soil, as well as performing the process of weeding or removing weeds So your plants don't compete for water and food.

irrigation program

What is eant by the irrigation program, is to irrigate plants with an appropriate amount of water, and at specific times. The irrigation process is not always a source of maintaining the plant’s life and growth, but water often causes the
plant to die, and this happens when you do not specify an appropriate irrigation program for your plant, Therefore, always stay away from the excessive use of irrigation water, as it may lead to rotting and death of the roots of the plant.

You should also know the appropriate times to irrigate plants, for example, on hot summer days, it is preferable to do the irrigation process in the early morning, or at sunset, so that the plant gets the maximum benefit from the water.

Start growing easy crops and plants

It is best for anyone who is a beginner in the field of agriculture to choose crops or plants that are easy to grow, because they do not need special care, or your experience in the field of agriculture, on the contrary, where you can grow

9 STEPS: LEARN FARMING FOR BEGINNERS (TEACHING THE BASICS OF HOME FARMING)

Agriculture education for beginners is today's topic on the World of Agriculture
blog, in which we always offer you many ways and topics related to the
cultivation of vegetables, fruits, herbs, trees and plants of all kinds, in
addition to methods of irrigation, fertilization, and caring for plants until
harvest, and many other articles related to general information about
vegetables, fruits and herbs.

Man has known agriculture since antiquity, and agriculture was one of the main
reasons for the prosperity of civilizations, such as the Nile River
civilization, where agriculture was the main source of food, because agriculture
at its beginning was limited to cultivating what families, families or tribes
needed only, and then the farming process began for trade purposes.

Learn farming for beginners - teaching the basics of home farming - the world of
agriculture

Agriculture is a fun process that anyone can do without sufficient experience,
and of course this matter is limited to a number of types of plants that do not
require a person’s great quality of experience, or do not need special care, and
here the term home farming or home farming appeared .

Most of those who grow at home are people who do not have much experience in the
field of agriculture, but they only find fun and a good hobby in planting and
caring for plants and gain experience from dealing with them, and I mention this
to encourage and motivate you to start farming in your home, because it is not
as difficult as you imagine, After reading this article, you can start planting
one of the species that I will mention later at the end of the article.

Teaching the basics of farming for beginners and the basics of home farming

Home farming is the first step to getting to know the basics of agriculture in
general, so many people do home farming as a hobby without having enough
information or experience about the field of agriculture, and in general, home
farming needs you to know some things that I will explain in the following parts
of this article .

Choosing the right containers for planting

You must choose pots or planting containers of a size, space, and depth
appropriate for the size of the plants that you will be planting, and you must
also make sure that there are drainage holes at the bottom of the pot, which
allow the excess water to escape from the soil and the plant and drain it so as
not to cause damage to the plant.

Choosing the right type of soil and preparing it

Before starting the process of planting at home, you must choose the appropriate
type of soil for cultivation, as there are several types suitable for home
cultivation, and you can see the article on the best type of soil for home
cultivation to learn more about the different types and the difference between
them.

After you have chosen the type of soil; You have to prepare it, by cleaning it
and removing any weeds present in it, adding compost to it, stirring it and
digging it, a process similar to the process of hoeing and plowing in large
agricultural lands. Preferably prepare the soil a week before the start of
planting.

Preparation of seeds or seedlings

You can get the seeds yourself from the plant you want to grow, but it is better
in the beginning to get the seeds or seedlings from places designated for this,
such as nurseries and others.

Pay attention to the spacing between plants

When planting seeds or seedlings, you must leave spaces between each seed and
the other, or between each seedling and the other, and the distance must be
appropriate for the size of the plant at its maturity and reaching the final
stage of maturity, and you can inquire from where you get the seeds or seedlings
about Spacing the seeds or seedlings of the variety you are purchasing.

Correct planting dates

Many people make mistakes when planting some types of plants, which cause the
plant not to grow or die during its growth stage, and this mistake lies in not
knowing the appropriate planting dates for the varieties they are planting,
there are winter crops, summer crops, and there are crops that must be planted
within days or months Certain during the year, so it is best to ask the person
you are buying from about the appropriate time to plant the variety you are
buying.

Distinguish between indoor and outdoor plants

There are plants that cannot be grown anywhere, for example, ornamental plants,
some of which you can grow outside the house, and some that can be grown
indoors, and if you reverse the matter, the plant may die or not grow.

For example, you cannot grow some types of indoor ornamental plants outside the
house, because they may be affected by sunlight and temperature, and there are
outdoor ornamental plants that cannot grow indoors because they need sunlight
for long periods, and so on.

plant care

Plant care is a process that you undertake from the first moments of planting
seeds or seedlings, and this process is summarized in maintaining a regular
irrigation program, exposing the plant to the sun and air as much as it needs,
doing the process of stirring, digging or hoeing and plowing the soil, as well
as performing the process of weeding or removing weeds So your plants don't
compete for water and food.

irrigation program

What is eant by the irrigation program, is to irrigate plants with an
appropriate amount of water, and at specific times. The irrigation process is
not always a source of maintaining the plant’s life and growth, but water often
causes the plant to die, and this happens when you do not specify an appropriate
irrigation program for your plant, Therefore, always stay away from the
excessive use of irrigation water, as it may lead to rotting and death of the
roots of the plant.

You should also know the appropriate times to irrigate plants, for example, on
hot summer days, it is preferable to do the irrigation process in the early
morning, or at sunset, so that the plant gets the maximum benefit from the
water.

Start growing easy crops and plants

It is best for anyone who is a beginner in the field of agriculture to choose
crops or plants that are easy to grow, because they do not need special care, or
your experience in the field of agriculture, on the contrary, where you can grow
