Our Trail Rides and Restaurant are now closed for the season and will reopen in
early May.

Boundary Ranch would like to thank everyone for their continued support over the
past summer and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Reservations for Sleigh Rides (starting Dec 3rd) and Dog Sledding (starting Dec
11th) can be made now from the Book Now Tab, Information Page or call us toll
free at 1-877-591-7177

We have implemented the restrictions exemption program and guests will need to
adhere to the guidelines of the program to participate.

BARBEQUE EVENTS and WEDDINGS

Since the COVID-19 restrictions have been adjusted, we have implemented the
restrictions exemption program and are taking group bookings.

Boundary Ranch is an exceptional location to discover the adventure and serenity
of the Canadian Rockies. Embark on horseback to explore scenic backcountry
trails with captivating nature and mountain views. Guided rides are suitable for
guests six years and older with all riding levels and experience. Group Events
include BBQ’s, activities, staged gunfights, wild west rodeos, wagon or sleigh
rides and more! Our Western Entertainment Centre open year round includes
banquet facilities, meeting rooms and gift shop: seasonally we offer Trail
Riding, Pack Trips and Caribou Cafe.

Great beginner horseback riding experience. The horses are well behaved, the
staff is friendly and accommodating, food’s great. The trail, however, is mostly
on forested paths, with only one clearing available to admire the wonderful
mountain views; there’s no freeriding available, even in the corrall; if you
want to hear the running commentary from the trail leader, you need to be in the
front 2-3 positions.

This is a very easy to find ranch and it is very clean and well organized. We
did a full day trip with our guide, Nick. The trail and the views were breath
taking. We were able to see deers and also some grouse birds. I highly recommend
this ranch to all people regardless of your riding experience.

Special Family Experience
We did the winter sleigh ride which ended up being a spring wagon ride. I have
to say COVID made this difficult for all with a number of postponements, changes
to the experience etc. The staff made all the changes easy and worked with me to
make this a really wonderful experience for our family.
The tour was great - we all loved the little facts shared along the way -
especially all about the Aspen Trees. Since returning we have all watched the
"Guy on a Buffalo" videos.
Cant recommend this place enough. We will be returning for sure.

Family Day Sleigh Ride
My son and I come to the mountains often but I wanted to do something different
with him, I came across Boundary Ranch while googling things to do. I saw the
sleigh ride and thought it would be fun. When we arrived we were greater right
away and given waivers, after filling those out we enjoyed some hot chocolate
while we waited for the other riders to arrive. Once all there we were led to
the sleigh and we were off. The ride was fun, lots of sights to see, we stopped
at the Buffalo loop as well as the teepee, and got a beautiful view of the
mountains. Overall it was a very enjoyable, my 3 year old loved it and can’t
wait to come back in the summer.

Great friendly service, great view of mt Kidd
The staff was really friendly and the customer service was great. We did the
sleigh ride and it fit 5 of us in a row. (Me and 4 kids). Get there early so you
could sit in the front row. We went to celebrate our sons 8th birthday and they
surprised him with a postcard. Thanks for doing this for him. And you get hot
chocolate and marshmallows.

Winter Sleigh Ride
Great place, friendly staff, almost exactly 1 hour drive from Calgary with good
road conditions. Kids loved, chilly but January, is to be expected, just dress
for the weather. A fire, hot chocolate (with Baileys), and marshmellows ready to
go upon arrival. Fun sleigh ride, perfect length with kids (45 mins) kept them
entertained without feeling too long or too short. Highly recommend for an easy
half day outing, i am sure a full day in summer without Covid restrictions would
be good.

Sleigh Ride
We thoroughly enjoyed our Sleigh Ride. We were so worried it would be cancelled.
Thankyou to Boundary Ranch for having good COVID safety measures in place so we
could still have this one excitement over the Christmas season. It was wonderful
and very educational as well!!

Sleigh ride
We loved the sleigh ride, to be out in nature, to see the Buffalos and see the
traces which the bears left on the trees. Nadine, who was our guide, is a very
pleasant lady and left us with wanting to come back next summer!

Amazing Experience. A must do!
My husband and I enjoyed an amazing sleigh ride on Sunday, Dec. 13. We were
fortunate that this event was able to go forward, even with the covid
restrictions. The communication with Boundary was super great. Thanks! The
arrival and registration was easy peasy. The ride was fun and our driver was
very knowledgeable and made the ride very enjoyable. We even sang Christmas
songs! Can't wait to go back next December to enjoy the ride again - in a
non-covid environment! Thanks Boundary team!

Awesome Sleigh Ride!
The sleigh ride was awesome, the views were stunning and the guide provided a
great learning experience. All in all it was brilliant.
