ADAM JACOBS' FAREWELL TOUR


OCTOBER 13TH AT HOTEL CLEVELAND

30 YEARS IN THE MAKING, 500,000+ CHILDREN SERVED

Wingspan Care Group President Adam G. Jacobs, Ph.D., is retiring in January 2025
after leading Bellefaire JCB and then Wingspan Care Group - the administrative
and management team for Applewood Centers - for nearly 30 years! Please join us
as we say farewell and celebrate his legacy. We will be exploring the past,
present and future impact of Wingspan and its agencies with music, food and
entertainment.

KEEPING THE PROMISE LUNCHEON
BUILDING A SAFETY NET FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES


JUNE 12, 2024

Applewood's Keeping the Promise event brings together our supporters and
community partners to share our mission of improving the lives of Ohio’s most
at-risk children.

Thank you to all of our sponsors and guests for helping to make the 2024 event
special.  We are especially grateful to our featured speaker, Cuyahoga County
Executive Chris Ronayne, for his passionate support for the children and
families we serve.  The agency and Cuyahoga County are key partners in the
community safety net.

Applewood Centers is expanding its residential treatment services to meet the
increasing needs of children and teens with complex mental health issues. We
recently renovated an unoccupied cottage at our Jones Campus on West 25th St. in
Cleveland. Funds raised at the Keeping the Promise luncheon will be used to
purchase specialized furniture, activites and safety bedding  that allow us to
create a home-like environment for the youth in this newly refurbished space.

Applewood Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing mental health
services, social services and education to children, adolescents and families
living in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. Dedicated to addressing a variety of
behavioral, emotional and learning problems, we provide a continuum of care from
outpatient counseling to residential treatment.
