Over the last 3 years, Congress has rejected President Trump's proposed cuts to student aid and instead increased funding for Pell Grants, SEOG, Federal Work Study, TRIO and GEAR UP. Tell your Representative and Senators to keep supporting student aid funding in this year’s budget. Contact Congress Congress needs to hear why student aid is important to you, your community and America’s future. Congress will write its spending bills this spring, but will finalize them in November. Congress needs to hear that increased funding, not cuts to student aid, make a difference for you. Write your Representatives and Senators and tell them to support a $7,000 Pell Grant and increases to all student aid in FY 2021 as an investment in America’s future. Thank them for supporting the student aid programs and tell them your story of the help it has provided you.
