WELCOME

We are delighted that our new free special school, Bloxham Grove Academy, will
open to staff and students in January 2024.

Currently under construction, Bloxham Grove Academy is a brand-new special free
school in Bloxham, North Oxfordshire. Our new building will have first-class
facilities in a rural location and will provide a purpose-built and state of the
art environment for our staff and student community.

Opening with 55 students on roll, by year 4 of its opening, Bloxham Grove will
have 100 students on roll between the ages of 7 to 18. We will be delivering
exceptional learning experiences to students across Key Stages 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Students will have a range of special educational needs and disabilities,
including Cognition and Learning needs, Autistic Spectrum Condition, and Social,
Emotional and Mental Health needs. All students will have an Education, Health
and Social Care plan which sets out the additional support required to meet
their needs. Average class sizes will be 10 students, and teaching will be
provided by qualified and knowledgeable staff with a high staff to student ratio
(4:1).

Because the academy is opening part-way during the academic year, a small number
of students are being educated in other Trust schools from September 2023 until
they transfer to Bloxham Grove Academy in January 2024. For more information
