MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER!


HI, I'M SHANNEL

Having multiple kids, losing and gaining weight has been a struggle for me over
the past 13 years. I use to beat myself up for not being able to get back to my
pre-mom weight, not taking the necessary time out to care for myself, & not
loving myself more.



I didn't think anything of the first time I shot boudoir. I mean... whats the
big deal? Then I heard story after story of my clients who felt like they
weren't enough, the self doubt, the abuse and I saw them heal right in front of
my eyes from the pictures I took. It was so beautiful and I decided to go all in
on Boudoir and couldn't be happier.


To me, boudoir is about SELF LOVE.

HELLO, I'M MICHAEL!

I didn't think anything of the first time I shot boudoir. I mean... what's the
big deal? Then I heard story after story after story of my clients who felt this
weight moving through the world, not feeling enough, the self doubt, the abuse
and I saw them heal right in front of my eyes from the pictures I took. It was
so beautiful and I decided to quit every other genre and I couldn't be happier. 



To me, boudoir is about acceptance.



How many times have you said "I wish I looked like I did X years ago." Boudoir
gives the opportunity to accept your body, your mind, your everything for the
beauty that it is RIGHT NOW. 



Michael has been featured on and been an educator at many photography
conferences.

"Doing this boudoir shoot was the best 40th birthday gift I could ever give to
myself. I had actually scheduled another photographer but still didn't feel
100%. I emailed Michael about more info, he asked to set up a phone interview to
discuss what I was looking for and by the time my session came around, I felt

turned into nothing but excitement!

"I'm turning 40 tomorrow. This is the year I'm separating from my husband and so
I'm starting a new life as a single mom. I'm finding my power as a woman and
rediscovering what it means to be myself on my own again. I wanted some way to
put that into pictures. 


I'm super goofy and uncomfortable in all of these situations and I don't know
how to pose, so I didn't think you would be to capture my sexiness on camera. 



This was about more than confidence, it's being open to life. I feel like I have
the power to do anything. Its confidence, but with mindfulness in the middle. 


If you have that little thing in side that says you're curious about boudoir, or
you know it will make you feel good, I would say go for it!"
