Nonresident Independent Adjusters who hold an active Independent Adjuster
license in another state may apply for the Emergency Independent Adjuster
license with the Hawaii Department of Insurance directly.  Please review the
Insurance Commissioner's Declaration which details instructions on license
requirements and the process for submission of the application and required
documents.

FLORIDA - HURRICANE IDALIA UPDATE

 * The state of Florida has declared a state of emergency for 49 counties in the
   state including Alachua, Baker, Bay, Bradford, Brevard, Calhoun, Charlotte,
   Citrus, Clay, Collier, Columbia, DeSoto, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Franklin,
   Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough,
   Jefferson, Lafayette, Lake, Lee, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Madison, Manatee,
   Marion, Nassau, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, Sarasota,
   Seminole, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, Taylor, Union, Volusia, and Wakulla
   Counties. You may review additional details in the Executive Order that was
   issued on August 29, 2023.

 * The Emergency Adjuster Application is now available for Florida-licensed
   insurance companies and independent adjusting firms through their Appointing
   Entity MyProfile account. Instructions and access to MyProfile are found on
   the Emergency Adjuster Qualifications page.
 * Inquiries related to the status of a previously submitted request must be
   emailed directly to the state at: AgentLicensing@MyFloridaCFO.com. Florida is
   responding as quickly as possible to inquiries; please do not email the same
   question multiple times as it will only cause further delays for everyone.
 * For assistance submitting a request accepted via NIPR, please
   email customerservice@nipr.com or call 855-674-6477. Emergency adjuster
   applications cannot be submitted via the NIPR.
