Do i need to backup or Format My Device before handing it over for repair?

For most repairs the data doesn’t need to be deleted, you can of course still
back it up just to be safe. Also, we do require access to your device for
testing purposes, so you’ll need to share your passcode with us(we don’t need it
if it is a doorstep repair) . We suggest you remove any sensitive data from your
iPhone, iPad or MacBook before giving it for repair.
