Whoops... You Just Got Phished, but don't close this page yet!

This has been a CDW sponsored phishing exercise.


Please review the email you received for suspicious red flags, such as:
1. Did you recognize the sender?
Closely check the email sender's name and address.
If you are not familiar with the specific sender, be cautious about opening any
links or attachments.

2. Did the email refer to employees or coworkers?
At CDW we always refer to our colleagues as coworkers, not employees.
If this email is not from CDW, the sender may not be aware that this is a part
of CDW culture.

3. Was there anything off about the message in the body of the email?
Look for bad grammar, misspellings, strange tone or poor word usage.
A threatening tone or requiring immediate action in the request can also be a
red flag.

4. Did you recognize the link's domain?
Carefully hover over the link, without clicking, to show the destination.
If you do not recognize the domain of the link, this may be cause for suspicion.
In this case, the link was not associated with CDW.

Utilize the "Report Potential Phishing" button on the top right corner of
Outlook.
