TSI LINK UPDATES ASSOCIATED WITH UK SMS MARKET CHANGES


Effective June 1, the UK mobile network providers are no longer allowing texts
to be sent by businesses using long form international numbers.
Instead they must be sent using an alphanumeric code, which do not allow replies
to verify the number or to stop receiving texts.

Due to this change, TSI Link customers will not be able to set up SMS (text)
alerts for UK phone numbers; however, they will still be able to receive alerts
via email. 

On July 5 when this change goes into production, any customer with a UK phone
number will have their TSI Link User Profile updated so notifications are turned
off for SMS/text messages.
They will receive a text stating they “have been opted-out. Thank you for
updating your preferences. You can review these on your user profile."

Please note that the management of alerts will still be available in the TSI
Link APP.
