SNHU: Billing and Tuition Announcement
Hello Caitlyn,
I am writing today with an update to our billing models and tuition rates. Everything regarding the overall partnership with The Sports Facilities Companies remains the same, with the following changes.
Effective beginning August 28, 2023 (23EW1) for online Undergraduate degree programs and September 18, 2023 (23TW1) for online Graduate programs, Southern New Hampshire University is implementing a new, simplified billing model that will provide more transparency in the billing process. This change makes it easier for students to understand their costs and contributes to a seamless SNHU experience as students choose how to take their courses - online or face-to-face.
Through this new model, students will continue to be billed per credit based on the type of courses in which they are enrolled, and will continue to receive their respective tuition benefit, however their tuition costs may look different than in prior terms, depending on the number of total courses and course type.
Before any partnership tuition discounts, the 2023-24 tuition rates<https://www.snhu.edu/tuition-and-financial-aid/online/2023-2024> will be as follows:
* Online undergraduate, beginning Aug. 28, 2023 (23EW1) -- $330/credit, or $990/course
* Online graduate, Sept. 18, 2023 (23TW1) - $637/credit, or $1,911/course
With the partnership tuition discount benefit, the reduced cost will be as follows:
* Online undergraduate, $297/credit, or $891/course
* Online graduate, $573/credit, or $1,720/course
For the 2023-24 academic year, we will be updating fees and eliminating the graduation fee of $150 for all students. As a reminder, these changes will take effect in August 2023 for online undergraduate courses. For Undergraduate terms that start prior to August 2023, tuition and fees will remain at their current rates.
