Project Description:

1.1 Invitation to Bidders This Request for Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation
by the City of Cambridge (the “City”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for
Queen’s Square Parking Lot Reconstruction & Installation of Traffic Calming
Measure, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix D)
(the “Deliverables”). The work includes the construction of 2900 m2 of asphalt
area, 38 m2 of concrete surfaces, 10 m of concrete curb and gutter, electrical,
and other miscellaneous works for the reconstruction of Queen’s Square Parking
Lot. The work also includes the installation of pedestrian islands, curb
extensions and drop curb/sidewalk treatments at various locations throughout the
City. 1.2 City’s Procurement Policy The City’s procurement process is governed
by the City’s Procurement By-law 19-187 (the “City’s By-law”). It is the
bidder’s responsibility to become familiar with and comply with the City’s
