    The Nanton Farmers’ Market takes place on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.,
    in the United Church parking lot, 2121 21 St. The last market is on Oct. 1.
    The Nanton and District Chamber of Commerce’s next Meet and Greet takes
    place on Thursday, Sept. 14 from 5-7 p.m. at Blended Boutique (The Promenade
    on Main Street). Refreshments will be provided, and the chamber encourages
    business owners and/or staff to attend. The Meet and Greets are informal
    get-togethers to reconnect and chat, and chamber membership is not required
    to attend. Although RSVPing is not a requirement, it does help the chamber
    better plan. To let the chamber know you’ll be coming, email
    info@nantonchamber.com. An update on the efforts to have a Halifax bomber on
    display at Nanton’s Bomber Command Museum of Canada takes place Saturday,
    Sept. 18, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The event features a presentation by Halifax
    57 Rescue’s Karl Kjarsgaard at 1 p.m., as well as Lancaster Merlin engine
    runs at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Bristol Hercules engine runs at 11:15 a.m.
    and 2:15 p.m. The admission cost is by donation. For more details and
    updates, visit the museum’s website, bombercommandmuseum.ca. The Bomber
    Command Museum of Canada hosts a Lancaster Night Run event on Friday, Sept.
    15. The event runs from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and features a presentation by Roddy
    MacKenzie, author of the highly acclaimed new book Bomber Command:
    Churchill’s Greatest Triumph, at 7:30 p.m., and a Lancaster Merlin night
    engine run, scheduled for 9 p.m. The Nanton Lions Club is having a 50/50
    raffle for the playground in the Nanton Lions Campground. The draw date is
    on Saturday, Sept. 30, and tickets can be purchased here. Mosquito Creek
    Music Nanton hosts The Black Feathers at the Nanton Community Memorial
    Centre, 2204 18 St., on Saturday, Nov. 4, starting at 8 p.m. (The doors open
    at 7:30 p.m.) Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Advance
    tickets are available at Because I Said So, 1902 21 Ave., or can be
    purchased by etransferring money to jonicooper@icloud.com. Mosquito Creek
    Music Nanton hosts an open mic on Wednesday evenings at the Nanton Lions
    Campground, beginning at 7 p.m. Come have coffee or tea Friday mornings,
    from 10-11:30 a.m., and visit with new and old friends, at the Town and
