At Bankstown, we believe that Hockey is for everyone and so provide hockey to players of all ages, from 6 years to 80 years of age. We also cater for all abilities, from the very beginner to state and national representative. Juniors We have mixed junior teams playing in the local (SEHA) and the Sydney-wide (Metro) competitions. This provides opportunity for players to progress from beginner, to representative level; and transition to senior competition. We also boast some of the lowest junior fees in Sydney. Men Our men's teams play in the Sydney Hockey Association competition in a range of grades in the Sydney League. Women Our women's teams play in various competitions, catering to all levels, from local social competition to the Sydney Women's Hockey League (SWHL) metro league. We offer good quality coaching for our members and regularly run coaching clinics and free "Come and Try" sessions, providing the opportunity to 'Try before you Buy'. We also provide Summer Hockey and enter teams in Indoor Hockey competitions outside of our regular winter seasons. Keeping Fees low Through careful management of our facilities and backed by a policy of making hockey participation affordable for everyone, we do everything we can to keep our fees as low as possible. A comparison of 10 other Hockey clubs in Sydney, shows that our fees are up to 35% cheaper for our men; 23% cheaper for our women; and up to 65% cheaper for our juniors, as compared to these clubs, playing in the same competitions.
