NATIONAL PARKS UTAH TRANSCRIPT

Kathy Esquivel: We head to Zion around 5:30 a.m. And I'm looking down at these
incredible rock structures. It was incredibly dark but then in five minutes we
start getting some light and you can see how the light was hitting the
mountains. The desert just lit up with all kinds of light. My name is Kathy
Esquivel. I'm from Lima Peru and I'm a content creator.
Leonard: My name is Leonard. I'm a landscape and adventure photographer from
Germany.
Kyle Hubor: My name's Kyle Hubor and I'm a visual creator from Los Angeles,
California. We will be spending the next week road-tripping and adventuring
through Utah.
Kathy Esquivel: You have a lot of different landscapes in a small place and that
makes it really really exciting because you don't know what's gonna come in the
next five kilometers.
Leonard: Hiking the narrows in Zion was one of the coolest hikes I've ever done.
The textures, the colors, the rivers, wading through water the entire time, and
then this incredible light bouncing up for the walls of the Slot Canyon.
Kyle Hubor: I grew up near a river and we'd go floating down it all the time for
fun, and this river just had a lot more rapids in it. That was my first time
falling off a raft during a float trip for sure.
Leonard: I was already wondering what would this place look like from above.
What would these canyons look like, the rivers, the mountains?
Kathy Esquivel: I got to see Utah from different perspectives. I saw it from the
sky.
Kyle Hubor: Over the most beautiful landscape possible. It was incredible.
Kathy Esquivel: For me, Utah is one of the most beautiful states in the United
States.
Leonard: It's really a dream for both adventurers and photographers.

NATIONAL PARKS, EPIC SNOW ADVENTURES & ENDLESS ENTERTAINMENT IN UTAH

Discover your adventure in Utah

Experience the adventure of a lifetime while visiting Utah’s national parks as
well as its vibrant cities, all surrounded by stunning natural splendor.

NATIONAL PARKS

Utah is famous for its five national parks: Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands,
Capitol Reef and Zion. In addition to these parks, you’ll find national
monuments and recreation areas, all of which are considered hidden gem spots by
visitors and locals alike.

It’s no surprise that Arches National Park is one of the top national parks in
America: it’s a 296 square kilometer paradise made up of beautiful red rock and
striking sandstone formations. Home to over 2,000 arches, Landscape Arch is the
second-longest span in the world and is certainly a must-see sight. If you’re
looking for an adventure, grab your backpack and hike to some of the park’s most
iconic sites, including Double Arch and Delicate Arch. And when you’re done
taking in the park’s beauty you can stay in one of Arches campgrounds or visit
the nearby Moab, a classic Utah desert town famous for its a laid-back outdoorsy
vibe.

If you’re looking to check out the wildlife, Bryce Canyon National Park is the
place to visit. The alpine environment is home to diverse species from birds to
mammals to reptiles. Viewing these animals in their natural habitat is a special
opportunity you won’t want to pass up on!

Located to the west of the town of Moab and a short distance from Arches
National Park, Canyonlands National Park , the largest national park in Utah, is
extraordinarily diverse in its landscapes. Rivers divide the park into four
districts: Island in the Sky, The Needles, The Maze, and the rivers themselves.
These areas all share a desert atmosphere, but each offers different
opportunities for sightseeing and adventure.

Capitol Reef National Park , located in south-central Utah, is a hidden treasure
filled with cliffs, canyons, domes, and bridges. Capitol Reef boasts spectacular
colored cliffs, hidden arches and deep canyons.

One of the nation’s most famous parks is Zion National Park , and there’s a good
reason for its popularity. Whether you’re in search of a challenging hike with
epic views or you’d like a more relaxed visit seeking out waterfalls and riding
on horseback, Zion National Park will leave you in awe.

OUTDOOR RECREATION

If you’re looking to ski or snowboard, Utah is the place to go, and the season
runs from mid-November through April.  Park City , in particular, is known for
its impeccably groomed runs as well as being a cozy and upscale mountain town.
Spend the day cruising downhill through the mountains and afterward, enjoy a
well-deserved après ski drink at Versante Hearth & Bar where you can find
affordable, comfort Italian food, delicious wine and local craft beers.

In the mood for a thrill? Try river rafter through one of the many rivers in
Utah! You can enjoy non-motorized oar rafts, high activity paddle rafts,
individual inflatable kayaks and stand-up paddleboards on most of our Utah river
rafting trips.

ENTERTAINMENT & ACTIVITIES

While visiting Utah check out annual festivals and local events that celebrate
Utah's artistry and cultural diversity. Across the state, every city offers its
own unique dining options, lodging, entertainment and activities.

Cities located in northern Utah offer access to ski areas, mountain adventures
and luxurious amenities. With mountain ranges lining the valley, this means
quick access to nature, as well as a concentration of vibrant culture, big-city
amenities and distinctive dining just minutes from Salt Lake City International
Airport.

In Salt Lake City you’ll find historic architecture, great shopping and a
bustling nightlife scene in addition to museums, art galleries and world-class
ballet. The downtown areas have an overall energetic vibe that will make any
trip here unforgettable.
