The MS Blues is a middle and high school composite mountain bike team that participates in the Alabama NICA League (https://www.alabamamtb.org) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On behalf of the TCMBA Board of Directors, I would like to say thank you to each of you. The Bridges, Berms and Boardwalks fundraiser was a HUGE success!! You have exceeded our expectations with the amount raised and the speed at which it was received. Our goal was $10,000. We have raised $14,396.61!!! These improvements are on-going projects and we are so excited to show off each new thing to make our trails better. Thank you for supporting your local trails! Chris TCMBA President -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2021 Board of Directors Chris Wise, President Zac Watts, Vice President Jeremy Wesson, Secretary Tamara Smith, Treasurer Taylor Spillman, Communications Jeremy Polk, Member at Large Brad Young, Member at Large -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TCMBA currently oversees 4 trail systems: * The Ridgeland Trails, 521 Giles Lane, Madison MS 39110 * Noxubee Hills in Ackerman, MS * Brandon Quarry Trails – TCMBA signed an MoU in 2018 with the City of Brandon to create a new trail system on an old quarry site close to I-20. IMBA Trail solutions created a concept plan which includes 7 miles of single track and plans for a bike park featuring a pump track and skills area. Approximately 3 miles of trail have been created. * Butts Park – Clinton (https://www.singletracks.com/bike-trails/butts-park.html) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Mississippi Trails to explore can be found here: https://www.tricountymtb.org/mississippi-trails Wednesday evenings are typically TCMBA member night at the Ridgeland Trails – bring your charged lights and then hang out by the fire for a great social time.
