How to bind a HOTAS (Explained) How to Enable Joystick? It is a little hard to find: Options -> Controls -> Remap Controls -> Flight -> Flight Stick How to Fix HOTAS NOT Working? First, launch Steam > Go to the Steam Library. Right-click on the game. Select Properties > Go to “Steam input per-game setting”. Finally, choose the ‘Forced off’ option and click on ‘OK’. Credit to getdroidtips How to Fix HOTAS/Joystick Deadzone Issue? I discovered this through the device analyzer included with Thrustmaster’s T.A.R.G.E.T. software. This works with any Thrustmaster HOTAS and joystick setups, but there are other programs that you can also use to change the below. I just want to explain to people what needs to be changed and why. In STAR WARS Squadrons, there seems to be a hard-coded deadzone of about 20%. This cannot be changed through the in-game menus, and I have yet to see a way to get rid of it thus far. This hard-coded deadzon only applies to the virtual axes DX_X_AXIS and DX_Y_AXIS, which are typically the default axes assigned to any joystick. These axes can be changed using software, in my case I use T.A.R.G.E.T., but I will list alternatives below as people report that they can accomplish the same thing. I suspect that the best alternative is Joystick Gremlin (Vjoy), but I’m not familiar with that software.
