WHAT DID YOU MISS?

This exercise mimicked a real phishing attempt. How can you spot a phishing
email?
 
 * Look for the Advocate Health warning banner at the top of each email
 * Look for language errors
 * Look for panic language
 * Is there a generic file attached?
 * Did you hover over the URL/link? 
 * Did you check the senders email address?



Remember to use your Squish the Phish button BEFORE you click. If you click a
real phishing email, call the Service Center immediately.

WHY IS CLICKING A LINK DANGEROUS?

Phishing emails try to trick you into clicking a malicious link. This can let
cyber criminals:

 
 * Access sensitive information
 * Compromise your company's network
 * Infect your computer with malicious software
