What if the Canadian government doesn’t care that nobody can afford a home?
Canada has some of the most overvalued real estate in the developed world, and
it’s been that way for years. Housing prices began rising faster than income
starting in the early 2000s and every single year it gets worse. Subscribe

When addressing the need to transport diphtheria anti-toxin to Fort
Vermilion in previous Ponderings, we learned May and Horner would fly it in
an open cockpit biplane – in throes of winter. Why, you might have asked.
Sources suggest it was only aircraft available – better than none. So, off
they went once blanket-wrapped anti-toxin was delivered by Dr. Malcolm Bow,
Alberta deputy minister of health, and stowed with charcoal heater in
    compartment behind aft cockpit.

 5. WEEKLY PONDERINGS: ON A WING AND A PRAYER – NO LIFE LIKE IT - PART 17 (131)

As we learned previously, the serious illness of Louise Jackson, wife of
Frank Jackson of Keg River, following the birth of their third son, Frank,
in October 1929, was exacerbated by lack of availability of local physician
to provide immediate assistance. This situation, coupled with lack of means
of transportation and communication in this northern Alberta community,
meant the need to call on a friend to deliver emergency message to far off
    community of Peace River.

 6. WEEKLY PONDERINGS: ON A WING AND A PRAYER – NO LIFE LIKE IT - PART 16 (130)

“My wings seemed to brush the treetops on either side as the craft settled.”
We last learned of George Campbellford Dalziel as we tried to catch up with
an aspect of his journey about which we hadn’t learned earlier – one of his
several encounters with disaster. So, now, we’ll take off on that journey
and, as promised, we’ll learn of his fate and what precipitated his perilous
association with treetops and the aftermath of the craft settling.
